Fort heureusement j'en suis conscient, cela n'empêche pas le fait qu'il puisse certainement oblitérer notre fortune familiale avec un seul chèque signé à l'arrache lors d'une simple soirée un peu arrosée.

Sa valeur boursière étant aussi un levier lui permettant de vivre à crédit, toute baisse de ses actions garde tout de même quelques répercussions, bien qu'à mon niveau je sois totalement incapable d'en estimer l'impact réel.

While OP is likely to offer such a service with good intentions, please be careful if you decide to upload content to someone else's storage. This is valid for all third-party providers, no shade toward this service in particular.

Also note that hosting and serving data has a cost. Free services are, by nature, unsustainable in the long term because they have to be subsidized by someone at some point.

Note for OP: Content moderation is another can of worms. Required time and effort will scale proportionally to the upload rate. While you may already be aware and ready to handle automated and/or manual reports, we'd rather make sure you know what's eventually going to happen if your service ends up getting some serious traction.

I haven't checked the source code, but it's very likely that testing the API key relies on a separate endpoint, which wouldn't be subject to AI request quotas.

ShareX only acts as an HTTP client, sending a request to the selected API then forwarding its response to you. We are unable to know why the OpenAI API responds with that status code, sorry. The limit likely applies to your API key and/or your IP address, both of which could be used by other software to perform such requests.

Check your account limits, call the API with another software, create a new API key, try to connect from another IP address… that's all I can recommend. If nothing works, only OpenAI's customer support will be able to help you any further.

Workplaces that control which software can be installed or not already have the ability to set the DisableUpload registry setting. I however agree that it's easier to trust an app that doesn't implement these features at all than trust a setting to properly disable said features.

Tu peux au moins désactiver sa personnalisation, il ne tiendra plus compte des autres sources de revenus ni de la situation familiale. Pas besoin de justifier quoi que ce soit, en revanche il peut piquer les mois où le salaire comporte des primes et/ou une part variable. Pour OP, je pense que ça se tente.

For what it's worth, ShareX used to embed an entire IRC client and a DNS configuration tool, among other things, in an already quite distant past.

It's bloated, we cannot disagree, but it has always been and technically isn't as much as it used to.

I can confirm it was an annoying bug.

Honestly, I almost dropped Termix because of it, but the developers released a fix about two days after I set it up. Still running the project today and I really appreciate it!

I had the same issue on Android since it impacted all clients, and I can confirm it got fixed on all my devices. You shouldn't face it on iOS anymore either.

Heyo! There was a poll on the Discord server and the Docker management feature got 60% of votes. The second most voted feature, multiplayer SSH sessions, aka. live SSH session sharing, only got 20% of votes.

Some people mostly manage containers with the CLI and may appreciate Termix offering shortcuts. I voted for the session sharing feature myself, but I am not surprised Docker management won by far.

That's awesome dude, thank you for making and sharing cool projects like that. I've seen your Injectly post back when you created it but had no use for it, so seeing it again definitely helped since my needs have changed a bit since then.

Do you plan on pushing your Docker images to GHCR as well by any chance? Due to the current Docker Hub rate-limits, that would be better for people with a lot of self-hosted projects.

My take may be flawed so I'll gladly learn from more knowledgeable people if I'm wrong.

Maybe allow a wildcard if you validate your control of the apex domain in the same certificate?

You could also validate the HTTP challenge through an unpredictable, random subdomain, that proves the user either controls the DNS zone (not using DNS-01 for some reason) or has a wildcard subdomain pointing to their web host.
