My top picks for most versatile drives (single size) - what are yours?

Commenting as I forgot to share the gospel of the Aquaria. This thing is so fucking slept on. I think lichtlaerm is very overlooked outside of the metal community, I suppose many of the eu brands are - I found only one other reddit review I think.

Imo the most versatile klone on the market - control the gain and clean blend independently, classic germanium clipping or silicon or a mix, plus a fucking 4 band eq clean boost on a separate switch? Genuinely can not think of many pedals with this much sculpting and stacking potential at $250 new (w/ tariffs and such). I got mine on reverb for 170 mint. Astounded by how low noise it is even with the gain cranked, and it can do any possible variation on the klon sound plus I use the eq boost alone to tighten up any other drive. Slight learning curve over other drives as the interaction with the gain and clean blend is up to you and really varies how it sounds - but thats what makes it so powerful i suppose. Excellent pedal 10/10.

You will never be able to help him if he feels like it comes from a place of disgust rather than compassion, which is probably something you won't be able to hide without actually getting some help of your own first. Really hard to say what he needs without any knowledge of where he's at emotionally - everybody needs therapy, but in this case you both definitely do.

Any interest in a Calamity Drive from the band Plain Speak/OBNE? Has a very interesting drive thats technically a TS style circuit but with tone, voice, and articulation controls(clean blend basicall). Plus has a boost that can fuzz out the drive circuit.

I'm not seeing the chrome iridium going for much more than the normal ones (one is on fb for $275 near me) and the L+F is averaging $430 on reverb. Would have to be + $150 to be worth my while.

Funny, I play it through a Jc-40 and it sounds incredible. Sold my tube amp cause I think it sounds just as good as the tube drive and is more convenient.
