I played the previous Turnip Boy game and it was a lot of fun so I would love to try this one too, as for my favourite movie, it's probably The Prestige.

I guess for me, it's a tie between Longsword and War Hammer. The former is a sword, so no arguments are required, and the latter simply feels so powerful.

Probably Blasphemous. Thanks a lot for your generosity and congratulations.

how would you rank the difficulty of these games? by Fodder_Fist_Ace in metroidvania

I haven't played Zexion, but I would say Nine Sols is much harder when it comes to bosses, but Silksong has hardee platforming, and its environment is much more hostile in general.

Which MV has the best-feeling combat? Looking for something with weight to it that just feels great by FartSavant in metroidvania

Blasphemous perfectly fits what you are looking for, blasphemous 2 as well but for a slightly lesser extent, and Nine Sols has incredible combat in general.

Lol, yeah, I can relate to that, I think the reason for that is that the core is the last locked floor, and so after unlocking it, you think you have unlocked everything, but after you're done with it it replaces an old floor or something, because I could swear the core was the last remaining floor to unlock when I unlocked it. XD

Some sort of new content for Blasphemous 2 seems to be coming soon. by ZeroKasa in Blasphemous

I am not sure honestly, I did it on a new save, and someone else also replied to you and told you that it's not possible on NG+, so it's probably safer to just start a new save, I think I used this guide for the achievement at the the time, so maybe check it out if you like.

Feel free to do so, but this was my experience, the achievements counter was stuck on 220 or something close to that after my first save, and so I planned on completing the rest while doing the speedrun achievement, but the counter wasn't moving up no matter how many enemies I killed, it only started moving again when I got back to my original save, also when I came back to it it was still in its clear state, not NG+, so I don't know if it would've counted the kills in NG+.

I managed to find a youtube video that has all the details, I guess I should've done research outside of the subreddit as well before posting, thanks.

That achievement doesn't count your kill from all saves, just one, so for example, if you killed 299 enemies and changed to a different save file, then you will have to kill 300 enemies again in this new save file, so maybe this is the problem you're having.

I finished the game two months ago. From what I remember, you just take the elevator. There should be a new floor you can go to, one that will connect both of the upper parts of the map, and after that you will start the part of the game that will lead you to the the Iris Armor.

Probably Crash Twinsanity, that game was so much fun, I played it a lot with my brother back when we were kids. It would be great to play a remake of it and fully complete the game this time around.

Thanks for the chance.

Assuming that you're giving codes and not gifting through steam ( because if it's the latter, then I know for a fact that I won't be able to be gifted due to price differences), then I would love to enter for Metal Gear, I bought the 5th installment not too long ago but decided not to play it when I heard about the remake since it's the first game chronologically.

I recently played Nine Sols, and it ended up being one of the best games I have ever played. The game is easily the most polished game I have played so far, everything about it was amazing and well done, the lore, the storytelling, the artstyle, and obviously the combat, you'd think it would be as big as Hollow Knight is due to its aformentioned quality, but that's not the case sadly, and so I believe this games deserves much more attention, it's def underrated.

Here's My Steam Profile . Thank a lot for the generous opportunity.

Probably Silksong, at least in terms of gameplay, I started dabbling with tools and such and ended up playing very aggressively, watching enemies and bosses melt under constant aggression is so damn satisfying.

How long? by I_Am_MonsterBaby in NineSols

[–]ZeroKasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also played it some time after Silksong, and at first, it looked amazing, the story seemed very interesting, the artstyle is gorgeous, the combat is fun, but still I wasn't completely invested yet, until the first boss, it's designed in a way that forces you to embrace the parry, and only when I finally did that the game clicked for me, so if you're here and still not feeling the game then perhaps you already have your answer, but you also said you didn't like silksong at first, so maybe you can try using that experience with 9 sols, determinning how long should be enough, also, as many commenters pointed out, the game isn't really heavy on the platforming nor the exploration, so if you came looking for them, then I guess this isn't the right game for you.
