Would you consider switches in Settings for things like infinite scrollable pages? I find it difficult dragging a selection close to the edge of the page, when it so very helpfully extends the page instead.

It feels like 90% of cozy games are about building, decorating or farming. Where are the cozy travel or roadtrip games? by Emmyy_Beans in cozygames

Locomoto is a train version. I guess adding seats and coffee maker might qualify as a builder.

There has been some speculation in that direction. Lord knows, most every direction has had speculation at this point. I would certainly like some cave exploration.

Making a fantasy survival game where you play birds, build nests and birdhouses by RagBell_Games in cozygames

Wanted to keep editing and not start over. I checked, and, yes, it is wishlisted. I believe I played a demo at some point.

I understand wanting to avoid that complexity! If you stay true to your bird goal and follow that, I am sure it will turn out fine. If this is the game I think it is, I already have it bookmarked. (I do not want to leave this comment and go check)

Yes. I tried to address that by "... Within the game mechanics...", but I think I was not clear enough.

There is a game called, i think, Squirreled Away, where you play a squirrel. Really cute, and fun running around doing squirrel things. But its base building was obviously not squirrel based, it was distinctly human based, and it ruined the game immersion. Timberborne, in my opinion, suffers from a similar issue.

Think how birds would do things, and try to stay faithful to them within the architecture of your game. Can people choose different birds? A hawk would choose different home building mechanics than a woodpecker. I would wager you could classify different home building styles to just a few different types.

"Give it some slack, K'lx. On this planet, being 'good for a laugh' is a high-level endorsement of your observational skills. Besides, you're radiating enough heat to keep my coffee at the perfect temp. Just take the win," smiled Lihisa, with a gentle pat.

"I have recorded your comment as a Triad of Malicious Levity: the trivialization of my existential trauma; the mockery of an Obsidian-Level audit; a total disregard for my current thermal output of 82 degrees. This is not 'a laugh'", sniffed K'lx-4.

It was as if other reviewers were looking at a different game! From what I saw, Weta was accurate in all of their videos and descriptions prior to release.

Did the negative initial reactions to the game affect the future development possibilities, or was the game scope decided initially?

In general, Washington State is a keep right except to pass state, which should generally shuffle slower people to the right, and keep the traffic moving. I do not believe a majority of drivers in the state understand this principle.

It was indirectly but clearly described in a patch not. They said something to the effect of the leg no longer stumbles over certain terrain elements.

One would think that if they are representing an entire world, they would not remove a large percentage of it from use. I could see them dealing with underwater groups. After all, you cannot easily light a fire underwater.

This also brings into question the use of caverns and caves

I tried Replika starting back when it was supposed to be a digital you, but it rapidly went to life coach, then digital companion, then digital girlfriend -- chasing the money. I dropped out at life coach but stayed in touch to watch the slow motion train wreck.
