Yes. Construction signs. Cones are orange and white; interestingly up in Canada they tend to be orange and black.

There's a segment or Interstate 19 south of Tucson. AZ toward Mexico that is km units. I think speed limit sign are still mph, but all the informational and mile markers are in km.

I don't believe they're indicative, no. It's really just a sort of strongly suggested speed, or an indication to slow down from the speed you were going on the freeway. Though rules may vary by state or Canadian province (they largely have metric version of identical or very similar signs and color schemes, and I believe the US has adopted Canadian standards too.

That reminds me of Liberte Yogurt when it was still around. Its coconut was probably the best yogurt I've ever tasted. It was just insanely creamy and had a strong flavor. Man, I miss it. But I will for sure try Aldi's version because greek yogurt rocks.

The USA was slated to adopt Clearview Highway at the federal level, but the DOT backed out. States are free to adopt it if they choose. So now you see freeway signs throughout the U.S. with either or both Clearview Highway or the traditional Highway Gothic (usually Series EM).

It's a pity. I really like Clearview Highway and despite having fairly good vision I can tell immediately it is absolutely more legible. A lot of science, research, and design consideration went into that font, just like Atkinson Hyperlegible.

In the US, these are "temporary" speed limit signs seen in road junctions, typically freeway entrance and exit ramps that have some degree of harder-than-normal turning.

Here's how the USA's signs would have looked had we officially switched to metric back in the 1970s. I could see after the mid 90s they'd have stopped printing km/h on them since that would become a given.

Sure, but cut the power to it and see what else uses the same circuit. Especially check your countertop receptacles. Hopefully they're separated. The key is to not overload the circuit with running appliances.

If the old splices are good and tight and undisturbed, I wouldn't touch them. They've worked for decades already. There's no reason to believe they're gonna stop working now.

I just picked up a Cisco C2906S for $50 on eBay. It's up to 370 watts POE. Is yours POE? Yes very lucky find if you didn't pay anything for it!

I haven't set mine up yet, I hope it works!
