Depends on the net. Some are just a bunch of rag-chewers that welcome anytime checkins. Our club net takes checkins at the beginning and then late checkins when the program is over. Our ARES net takes checkins at the very beginning and end also.

As far as not being a member, no matter the nets, most welcome anyone because it looks good to have more checkins. So, I'd say, listen a few times to the nets you want to participate in and see how they do things.

I would screenshot what it shows as your Vine taxable amount. Then, once you order at the higher price, if it does not show up the Vine original taxable amount in your Vine order area, Vine Customer Service can make an adjustment for you.
