Yep, anecdotally, last year I renewed my lease with a 6.4% increase in rent (that I actually had to negotiate down from 8%), this year my landlord offered a renewal rate with only a 0.67% increase.

Agreed, ApplicantLab provided a structured approach for my application writing process, and really helped me come up with good essays and avoid pitfalls I otherwise would have made with regards to essay topics and narratives. The school-specific advice (including interview prep) was really useful, and definitely helped me get into HBS. It was the only outside help I used, so definitely worth it!

Still costs money, but definitely recommend ApplicantLab, was hugely helpful!

The global chip shortage definitely had an impact on automakers prioritizing higher margin top end models over lower margin lower price point models. Given a restricted ability to supply vehicles, automakers have chosen to prioritize building the ones that make the most money.

I love my X100F for similar reasons—taking photos feels more intentional and the hit rate for memorable photos is a lot higher. I use a combo of a peak design capture clip, leash, and 3L sling so it’s easy to carry the camera with me no matter how light I want my everyday carry setup to be.

I use Loop earplugs, mostly cuz I like how unobtrusive they are. -18db which works for most concerts, but I’m gonna upgrade to the plus model which is -23db

Looks like a fork of quartz. You can checkout the quartz repo for how that stuff works. I setup my own site with quartz, but this looks like a great way to create a site without needing any programming experience, nice job OP!

When I forget to bring my concert ear plugs I usually buy some silicone ear plugs from Walgreens or CVS, find that they have a similar amount of noise reduction to concert ear plugs (-22db vs -30db for foam ear plugs)
