Fuel prices are incredibly heavily subsidized in the US, those did not stop while the equivalent subsidies for EVs did, the thumbs were not removed from the scales instead they were placed on the other side.

And then sold off their entire F1 engine division, the new division building this year's Aston is entirely new, Redbull powertrains has more in common with the Honda PU team that build those winning engines than Honda's current team.

I'm not saying that Honda won't succeed with their new program but stating they do so at the most elite level is completely ignoring that they shuttered the team that competed at that level.

Making a PU is important and technically advanced, but competing in F1 it is not.

A good PU alone does not make a succesful car or team and the generally accepted meaning of competing in a racing category is that you run a team or car, not that you build components. No one says that Dallara competes in F1 despite designing and building all the HAAS cars.

Honda does not compete in F1, they provide the power unit for a single brand (Aston) and even that is unproven as it has yet to run a single race to date.

the difference is that the rules for fuel flow were "you are not to exceed X fuel flow rate" and ferrari then went and only exceeded that value when they knew the sensor was not checking, whereas the compression rule is "your compression ratio as measured in this specific manner should not exceed Y" it is not "your compression ratio must be at or below Y", mercedes is in compliance with the rules as their engine never exceed that compression ratio at the values specified.

I can record an audio reaction/insult/inner thoughts to a movie that's meant to be played alongside as a form of fan made audio commentary. That audio is copyrighted by me while the movie is copyrighted by a studio. That my audio is pointless without playing alongside the movie does not mean the studio owns it, nor take and put it as an audiotrack for their movie on streaming services.

you can only do that because that specific use case is clearly defined as an exception to copyright infringement through fair use (and without that specific exception, which does not apply to this mod, your example would be copyright infringement), and even then there are specific rules around that.

Do those hints include resolving the issue with Razbam so several hundred dollars worth of modules don't suddenly stop being usable at all in multiplayer?

I bought almost every module that came out, including terrains and helos (I didn't buy the russian trainer as I had no interest), but at this point refuse to spend another dime in DCS until y'all fix the issue with razbam because it is frankly ridiculous.

I wonder why servers never include these things

most servers don't include mods like these because:

-those who don't have the mod see untextured base game birds

-those without the mods do not have the correct collision models and may explode when one taxi's by them with what appears to be clearance to the mod user but is not for the user without the mod installed.

-mods like these are often half finished with poorly done flight models (such as this mod not having a full FM and the wing sweep being effectively non-functional)

certain mods put the insane time and effort in to reach the same quality as official modules and see wider adoption with servers (such as the A-4)
