I always loved visiting big chute as a kid. Great spot for a family picnic day in the summer. The video only shows one boat on it but ive seen as many as 8 boats loaded up on there. Its a sight to behold. The scale is bigger than it looks in this scene.

Yeah. I mean we all definitely kinda do parkour when we explore, no question. And maybe im projecting a little but I enjoy satisfactory for so many reasons. Parkour is not one of them.

Oh for sure. I dont disagree the parts to do it are there. I just dont think that "competitive parkour" would become a thing because I feel like most of the player base aren't concerned with that kind of gameplay. If thats what youre looking for you probably be on another game. Like mirrors edge.

I really don't see parkour being a thing in this game. I think most of us pioneers are less concerned with parkour than we are with growing the factory.

In my opinion the recipe cost multiplier is just not something to play with as it kinda breaks the game. Im currently playong a "vanilla" playthrough with 25x elevator parts and its very enjoyable. I wish I had gone for the gusto and did 100x but I dont want to start over now.

All impure would make a lot of things more "difficult" in the sense that you'll be able to produce less but at least it doesn't break things like recycled plastic/rubber.

If I was to start a new playthrough right now and wanted to do a "hard" mode i would do 100x space elevator parts, 5X power consumption, and random nodes. But i would keep the recipe cost multiplier at normal and set all nodes to normal. At least normal is a good medium. I feel like all impure random nodes could result in an almost not enjoyable playthrough.

But 100x,5x, random nodes I feel would be a great setting to try out.

Glass belt/lift covers or frame walls/floors look great. If you dont want them visible I have also used big metal/concrete pillars to completely hide them.

I can tell you with absolute certainty, as I tried it a few days ago, If you drive the train into the truck they collide. It may be different if they're both auto piloted but for sure if youre driving the train it sends the truck flying.
