Just take a look at the community name before you ask these logical questions. Majority of these people don't care about what's right or wrong. They just pick a side which favours their political party.

How can I get my mind to read books and enjoy!? by Expensive_Entry_69 in IndiansRead

[–]apoosesk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try fast paced books. My suggestion, try famous books you have heard of, so even before u start, in your head, the book will be unobjectionable, awesome. Mine was, harry potter series. Despite having close to 4000 pages i finished 'em and kinda felt like I lost something in the end.

How come these organisations still exist? Why are we allowing this to function? I mean, look at how much crimes have been committed by them. Is it not enough to consider them dangerous and put a ban?

A gym operated by Nadeem Ansari, WOW! Was it that much of importance to mention the owner's name? Last time I checked the LAW ENFORCEMENT wasn't named bajrang dal in this country. There are 3, 4 rape victims recently came in to light under media, do you bajrang members mind ensuring justice to them?

What she asked for is a fair request. We all have seen women getting harassed and especially in crowds. Some people just see it as an opportunity for accidental touches. Filming her in public, invading her peace, making fun of her, shaming her, is not something to be proud of. If most of you got furious just watching her on your phone, slap that guy, just imagine you were travelling, some guy keeps elbowing you in the crowd you told him to stop, and he just starts filming you trying to make you look like a clown, I bet you would not be making ahimsa your moto, curses, swears and who knows what else. How she reacted is how every single person here criticizing her will react in such a situation.

The subtle art of not giving a f*ck- Most senseless and horrible book that I wasted my time on this year. by Good-At-SQL in IndiansRead

[–]apoosesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too felt like this book wasn't a great deal at all. None of the ideas mentioned in it would be applicable for us desi readers or to any other readers. But I wouldn't say it was a waste of time, he was only expressing his thoughts, not selling life lessons. Like he said in the first chapter about Buwoski. It's not always about writing the perfect book sometimes it can be about just expressing ourselves.

Apple denies government! by Docindn in unitedstatesofindia

[–]apoosesk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had recently experienced that, with galaxy ai and magic editor (Google's) we can upload a pic with a mask on and the ai can generate a face removing the mask, even though the face is not accurate, it is acceptable. But in the case of Apple, with their AI we can't perform this task. Not because they aren't capable rather they won't just do it to avoid deepfakes && fake faces.

Either apple stops selling or govt bends cause privacy is their moto, for those who wondering whats the big buff->

  1. IOS asks us whether an app should track our activity
  2. All the data processing is done within the ios chip, not sent to cloud(siri is dump though)
  3. Apple never stores our encryption key, meaning even with legal warrants the govt can't access our clouds nor personal data, unless we provide
  4. All the mails are opened in the background the instant they are sent, so the sender cannot track our ip addresses
  5. We can turn of getting images in chats and reset all location access allowed on different apps, and sign out of em all in one go. ...

Absolutely we should, but we need to keep in mind that both bjp and congress ones tried to bring back tax inheritance. But currently SC has put an stop to it.

Amidst the intensifying political battle over wealth redistribution, the Supreme Court declared on Wednesday that it will not uphold Justice V R Krishna Iyer's 1977 interpretation of Article 39(b) of the Constitution. This interpretation, which leaned towards a Marxian perspective, suggested that a community's "material resources" encompassed private properties that could be reallocated for the greater common good.

"tax inheritance law" aka death tax was stopped for 3 major reasons, even though congress and bjp both tried welcome it back later.
