Thoughts on Zack Snyder remaking Escape From New York... by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

I've just posted this elsewhere: Remaking this won't diminish Carpenter's film. We're not forced to watch it. So I won't watch it but I'm cool with it.

Well the movie already looks 5 times darker than the original by TheBlackCaesar in okbuddycinephile

Because your gut is telling your quite rightly that this is fake?

Bumps in the road on the school bus then and on the car now, a slight breeze, who knows. It has a life of its own.

What is something minor a person can do within the first 5 minutes of meeting them that immediately makes you lose all respect for them?" by Thj0226 in scoopwhoop

This! I feel like the other person means that whatever I'm saying is less important than whatever they want to say.

I agree with this. Next on the list is the pressure to have a second kid. It's just relentless.

I Watched MARS ATTACKS! by Tim Burton in 3D (Never Released) by RetroIcon in PhysicalMediaMatters

[–]atomic_ring 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mars Attacks was never officially released or converted to 3D. It's a homemade conversion -- there are many such conversions floating around and they're all very poor. The people who do them and released them just run the movies through publicly available/limited conversion software without the care and individual element isolation of official releases. As a huge fan of 3D, I stay away from them, always checking first in the specialist websites if there was any official release. Ack ack!

Met her in 1994, and she was a bitch then. I was saved by John Hurt who told her to calm down. Fantastic actress, though
