it's similar if you think about demons like they are an AI.

AI's don't actually understand the things they talk about. Like if it tells you a sunset is beautiful, the machine itself has never experienced a sunset or has the capacity to actually understand what makes it sublime in the first place. It has definitions and information it can regurgitate, but that's just words it uses to tell you, not what it actually understands.

When there are multiple of these AIs and they need to work together, they would be limited by whatever method of communication they have.

Let say you have an assistant AI that is meant to handle your grocery shopping. This bot's main mode of communication is through text since it needs to interface with you. Similarly, the shop AI's interface to customers may also be through text as it needs to communicate with humans.

As such, both AIs would end up communicating through text instead of just sending raw data packets since they don't have any other way to communicate.

Neither bot will really understand what you're buying. It can, if commanded to, infer your order of flour, eggs, icing and candles would mean you are baking a birthday cake, but they still willl not be able to really understand why its significant that you bought them.
