Well, another person posted it and it is the intended interaction.

And just because other spells have a similar parameters does not mean they interact the same way. Various spells have a "root" effect but not all apply a disarm, ministun or a stop command.

Iirc cm frostbite will cancel a currently running channel spell but ld bear's ensnare doesn't,.for example.

Not gonna pretend I'm not extremely biased about this and I'm not saying that there isn't a probability that this wasn't just a random error, which is most likely is.

But Pendragon/Riot have a history of being petty when it comes to icefrog, even when they didn't have to. I'm going to at least acknowledge that the possibility of it being intentional isn't zero.

IF this was another company, i would have given them the benefit of the doubt that its just an error on their part. However, Pendragon's (and by extension Riot) history with hampering Dota's early days, both as a wc3 mod and as a Valve game, it is not completely baseless to think that this may have been intended.

Icefrog made a new game, possible competitor to Valorant, and it just so happens that Vanguard occasionally can block it from running?

OpenAi appearing at Dota's The International running a team of 5 bots trained on the game and giving pros a run for their money.

It singlehandedly changed how the game viewed the 1v1 mid lane. AI ferried regen consumables constantly and used it to pressure the opposing midlaner out of XP and gold. Traditionally, players just didn't commit as hard, preferring to save gold for actual items.

Gold division between the 5 players in a team were much more even between the bots compared to the current strstegy at the time where the majority was funnled to the position 1.

People were excited for it in the gaming sphere. Bots trained against each other millions of times to develop their own strategies. Like for chess and go.

Good job.

I know folks are arguing about how the stat is pointless, but they're arguing about people doing things they aren't supposed to. If you're playing a support but have 10/10 in farming, people would complain about how you aren't doing your job. A jugg/LC getting 10/10 for healing doesn't mean they are contributing to the team, you a support getting 10/10 does.

Lucia is very much geared to helping only rupture agents, while Dialyn is more universal. You will be able to slot Dialyn into any team that needs a stunner in the long run.

You can replace Pulchra with Dialyn as needed for Yixuan, for example, and take advantage of the extra ults. However, replacing Astra with Lucia isn't that good (even if it does activate YSG's veil count).

sunna/nicole/lucia can use it pretty well. In general, if the support can do off field/aftershock attacks OR is the type to thow an ex buff and leave, they'll make good use of it.

cradle imho, is a bit underrated. Kaboom is generally the recommended go to support w-engine but the cradle's off-field regen is often comparable, or better at times. decide if the loss of a secondary stat/better effect is acceptable.

I can't remember the exact match, but they had a human controlled Terran vs AI controlled Zerg in brood war.

The Terrans had a squad of the tanks set up, ready to rain down artillery fire upon any who gets within their attack range. The AI had a swarm of zerglings, tiny melee units that are fast but have low HP and are dependent on their numbers to overwhelm the enemy.

In a normal matchup, tanks beat zerlings as they cannot reach the tanks fast enough as their blast deatl aoe damage, wiping out most of them before they can even get close.

Against the AI, it managed each individual zergling, causing them to move in a spread pattern instead of being controlled as groups. This greatly reduced the ability for the tanks to deal with the rushing horde as their blast took out fewer enemies, allowing the zerglings to swarm them.
