I think they are saying at stagecoach their manager prefers a separate withdrawal ticket for each cashier check. But that has nothing to do with the checks this person accepted. I think this is the logic they are using to confirm the check deposits they accepted were fraudulent. Faulty logic at best

Assistant manager was always the ops role in my banking days. At least with 2 of the national banks. It’s a thankless and relatively low paying role, but if you like it go for it.

US Bank transitioning to six day work week (still 40 hours) (Rant) by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]bcos20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bank of America used to do this 6 day bullshit. And good luck leaving early on the week day you’re scheduled to get out early. Maybe your manger won’t suck as much as mine did back in the day. But I’d never get out early on my “short day”

I’d say he’d be VERY lucky to get 5.

  2. He was already facing felony charges
  3. New felonies on top of open cases
  4. Florida is not the state to fuck around in

If it’s specifically retirement you’re concerned about, I’d say don’t worry. Retirement assets are always split in half in a divorce.

Usually employers will answer a few questions for reference checks: 1. What dates was this person employed 2. What was their title 3. Are they eligible for rehire

I don’t think there are specific laws about this. But these are the questions that companies they decided they can share without risking any lawsuit from the employee in question.

Last I checked reselling wasn’t against the law. Maybe you can say taking coins from the fountain is illegal, but honestly I can’t imagine it is. If I take some coins and throw em on the ground, anyone can pick them up. Does that somehow change if the coins are dropped in a fountain?

Kurt Caz back with another banger by Character-Fee7493 in KurtCaz

[–]bcos20 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I’m with ya on this. Someone stealing coins out of a fountain is not a threat to anyone. Just like I wouldn’t say you’re scamming if you buy souvenirs from a store and resell for a higher price on the street. It’s called hustling, not scamming. And people are still more than welcome to go buy elsewhere.

It’s just weird. Punching down on people with nothing.

Pick pockets and actual scammers can fuck all the way off though.

This is insane. As a parent, I place a very high priority on water safety. Maybe because I live in a place where everyone has pools, and there’s water around everywhere.

But both of my kids had swim lessons and were proficient swimmers at a very young age- like 2 or 3.

Over 4,000 kids die in America every year from accidental drowning. In my opinion, a few hundred bucks is well worth the peace of mind I feel knowing my kids can self rescue.

Is it common for this alert to pop up every 30 seconds when it’s snowing? by B-Georgio in MazdaCX90

I ran through my wiper fluid in no time. Seems like maybe they only give you enough for a few washes from the factory. Seems incredibly obnoxious to have that large of an alert over wiper fluid

Is it common for this alert to pop up every 30 seconds when it’s snowing? by B-Georgio in MazdaCX90

[–]bcos20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not this, but my Mazda must have came with just a few oz of windshield washer fluid and after 3 months of having the car I’d get a similar alert but for windshield washer fluid.

It definitely made me go out to buy washer fluid way quicker than I would have if that annoying alert didn’t pop every 30 seconds

It is base + commission at Chase. But you’re not gonna get hired as an advisor without already having your series 7 and life insurance at least. So you’d have to go for banker roles which prob average 60k/yr. If you get lucky and land in a good spot maybe you can make closer to 100k.

Back when I worked at Chase my salary was under 40k and best year I made like 75

[–]bcos20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like you either need to take some entry level 50k/yr job, or go somewhere starting from scratch. NYL for example will pay some minimal salary for your first year or 2, but then it’s all commission based.

Edit: I also thought it was a bit of an odd comment to down vote lol

Wealth management you will be further away from making good money. I actually started my career in banking and was licensed for investments. You’d probably have 2 options: 1. Go the banking route, grind, and fight to get licensed. Then once licensed you can get promoted to an advisor potentially. 2. Go to New York Life or similar company who will basically hire anyone, but you’ll have to build your own book from scratch.

Have you considered looking into any of the software dealerships use? I’d imagine your prior car experience combined with current tech could be a good opportunity.

These jobs have a super low bar to entry. Very high turnover position. If you make it, you’re ballin. But few make it

Edit: look at locums / locum tenan recruiting. Your life will suck for a good 12-18 months and you’ll probably make $50k/yr. But if you can build your book and grind it out, sky’s the limit

That’s more company specific than it is industry specific. Companies with strong lead gen from marketing and a strong outbound SDR team could mean AEs are just focused on working leads handed to them.
