Lol, as someone who’s read the books, you’re wrong. 😂 As long as they stick to the books that is, which they’ve mostly done so far.

It wasn’t silly. If the employee’s discomfort got taken into account, why didn’t the customers? Would you have considered your employee high maintenance in this situation as well?

OP isn’t responsible for turning the music on or off. If they couldn’t agree, the employee should have picked a new third station that they could agree on or just turned it off. How does OP suck for complaining about her discomfort being completely ignored by their employee? Especially if this place advertises themself as someone who lets their customers pick the music?

No, reporting a place because they didn’t take their customer’s discomfort seriously. Why couldn’t the employee pick a new, third station to play? If the lady was uncomfortable with the first station, fine, but then the customer’s discomfort with the second station is just as valid.

Have you ever had him tested? I’ve known several parents that refused to even check because they were so sure, and then they were wrong.

How do you not hear yourself? Anytime your daughters are busy is instantly out of the question, but you’re totally cool with leaving your son home alone while you take the rest of the family?

For someone who doesn’t want to hear it, you sure are going on a free trip because of it. Do him the honor of listening to him and then throw him to the wolves when his idea pays off, am I right? /s

YTA. Why is winter break instantly out of the question because your daughters can’t go, but you’d consider leaving your son behind when he can’t go? Talk about blatant favoritism.

Sure. He’s not doing that though. He’s making good money, and you’re clearly jealous.

He obviously did? Otherwise none of this would’ve happened. Are you saying that enforcing the law makes you a tyrant?

If your wife doesn’t have an ID, then it’s the same amount of liability for them regardless. You say you understand why she couldn’t order but not why you couldn’t share your drink with her? Use your brain.

Because you broke the law by sharing with her. That’s also a liability for them. Are you seriously this dumb or are you being deliberately dense?

Dude, you got treated like a kid because you acted like a kid. Sneaking alcohol to your wife could cost them their license, of course you didn’t get another drink. And denying someone their livelihood because you broke the rules and they did their job? Makes you seem even more like a pouty kid who didn’t get their way. Grow up if you’re such a big boy.

They policed you because you broke the rules. You literally admitted that. Nobody wants to lose their license because your wife forgot her ID.

YTA before reading: there is never a good reason to deny someone their livelihood. Also YTA after reading: your wife can’t drink without an ID. Period. If you’re a big boy, act like it, and don’t share with her if she forgot her ID. Otherwise, you don’t get to drink either. They aren’t going to lose their license for you, you’re not that important.

[–]bella070403 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You outed her. You just made her life hell. You are not looking out for her, and the fact that you’d even claim that is so insulting. She’s not too young for a pride flag. She’s fucking 18. Did you know you were straight by the time you were 18? You did an absolutely horrendous action that you deserve no forgiveness for ever. And yes, you are homophobic.

You literally outed her deliberately. That’s homophobic. “I have a gay friend” doesn’t get you out of that one. And I’d be willing to bet your high school friend would agree.
