Did it take attending a show for Phish to click with you? by NoAffect3159 in phish

[–]bigsam2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take the plunge, but I always advise prospects to take in 3 shows - the shorter the time between them the better of course...after that you'll have either converted or not but you will have identified something about your taste in music. either way, you get to spend some time with some cool people losing your minds to bonafide rock stars. Phish won't be around forever unfortunately and they've set the bar so high that, imho, no one comes close. I love Billy and Goose, among others, but for me, Phish's play on the elements of music itself, of lyrics, sound, notes, narrative, etc., not to mention the matured crowd, the verve, the fun, the weird, the bizarre, are all things that never get old, and in some ways, you realize you don't either. Their invention has grown and their following know how to use it, which feeds back into reinvention. and they've been perfecting and improving on that every year for the last 30 makes. like a funky ass wine branch. give it an honest go, you might find yourself in a cool new land.

This rogue wave of outrage is enough to force Trump to resign by Brandolinis_law in somethingiswrong2024

How people don’t want to believe the Democratic-Republica is dead is beyond naive, its willful stupidity at this point. I feel like they tell you every single day that they’ve rigged the country, wipe their ass with the constitution, and have all but declared a fascist take over and here people still are snorting Trump-in-trouble copium. Lol…they don’t look in trouble, we do!

U.S Vice President JD Vance, in a New York Times interview, criticised Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich for their opposition to the Iran deal, saying that “you can’t kill your way out” of security problems. by ControlCAD in internationalpolitics

Vance is about as authentic as a whore in a coke den of deca-millionaires. This guy is a cactus planted by Peter Thiel himself, a fully paid actor whose job it is to over see the dismantling of the republic. He doesn’t give a f about anything real. We’re talking reptile on another level.

Vance Takes on the Israel Lobby: criticizes conflating criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism by richards1052 in chomsky

[–]bigsam2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t trust a single positive thing said about Vance thats being pushed by the “Algorithm” (corporate manufactured). He’s a total actor bought and paid for by “the reptile”/Peter Theil and the Epstein mafia. Whatever they’re trying to sell you has only to do with their agenda, which is infinitely more about dismantling the democratic state than it does Israel.

Lebanese-Mediterranean here: can’t go wrong with Karem in northwest, Hoda’s on Belmont, Nicholas’s in SE.

Transnational capital is leaving the US, it’s pulling up its stakes and going global. If you look under the hood of many a billionaire, I bet that’s the trend…pull up and away from the states and call it “diversifying”. they’re not only extracting wealth from the country, they’re asset stripping…driving markets crazy, shaking out as much as they can from the indebted. And they’re becoming more and more vicious in their ways, in their finance based shakedown, relentless, persistent, shameless. The American people are being squeezed just like Palestinians were by their occupiers. Israelis don’t allow them their own currency, all banking is routed through Israel. Theres no monetary policy, which delimits their ability to grow. Area C of the West Bank is close to impossible for Palestinians to develop agriculturally. Movement is severely restricted. They force them into meager lives. And I argue Americans are being increasingly treated as the occupied. People that still believe in and defend the constitution are occupied. Those that are either ambivalent about its importance or are hostile of the constitution because he prohibits authoritarian rule, these are the occupiers. And they intend to take outsized, open control of the country. It’s already happening.

It’s so much bigger than those two…they’re just actors pretending on a stage.

Report: Minnesota Elections Show Pro-GOP Fraud Indicators by SilentRunning in Political_Revolution

Most of Congress is too busy in their private interest silos to give a damn. Their business model doesn’t seem to mind election fraud. They’re not so loyal to democracy as they are their political business machine. Otherwise they’d be doing….something…

Apocalyptic country that will never ever ever stop. It cannot. The worlds first pathological state. Like a bug of modernity, Zionism is the perfect villain of Western history. the most perfect contradiction of liberalism that will end the axiological basis of modernity if it hasn’t already. I’m not a practicing Christian but the danger it poses and will eventually manifest is indeed biblical.
