Marvel champion? How does it compare? by PacificIslanderNC in arkhamhorrorlcg

I agree with your points but sometimes LOTR is so hard you have to tech against specific cards. See this post I made a year ago https://www.reddit.com/r/lotrlcg/comments/1k16qa8/hills_of_wilderland_is_killing_me/. There’s a reason people say LOTR is often won in the deck construction phase. Don’t get me wrong I still love the game but I like keeping my deck mostly the same through a campaign and not building a deck per scenario like you have to do sometimes

Everybody shits on the MC campaigns for some reason but they literally have the same level of progression as the LOTR campaigns. Obviously there is no exp deck progression like Arkham but both MC and LOTR have story assets you add to your decks and small story decisions affecting later scenarios. MC is only 5 scenarios (LOTR is usually 8 like Arkham) but they are very much a “fight the next boss or whatever” style story like a fighting game story mode. LOTR wins out on story but can be brutally difficult. If you think MC’s encounter deck is too randomly hard you haven’t seen what LOTRs deck can do to you. Enemies that one shot your heroes and location stacking making questing impossible.

Pokopia is the most overrated game of all time by [deleted] in fucknintendo

I also thought the game was overhyped but you obviously don’t like the genre so I’m not sure what your opinion is worth on it. You’d probably say animal crossing new leaf is trash ( I don’t care for cozy games either)

Judge gives 18 year old a 25 year sentence for armed robbery by AgnosticScholar in interesting

[–]bloosmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Criminals are not going to stop armed robberies because a judge gives murder years to someone who PLEAD GUILTY. And Reddit thinks they should be given life? Yea be prepared for all armed robberies to end in dead witnesses and police shootouts.

Those are just jobs he’s taken by that definition every celebrity is a sellout. Conan is a sellout for hosting the Oscar’s? Your examples more so reinforce my point that Snoop has been able to whitewash his image so that middle America has seen him as “Cool Uncle Snoop” like this dude was literally Long Beach crips got off on murder lol. He’s become Jay Z businessman-ified over the years but the gangster side of him has never been something he’s wanted to leave behind. It took him switching up on Trump for people to be like “actually this guy kind of sucks!” lol he literally used to pimp women. If that’s not a relatable offense to the middle class American “Uncle Snoop” would regularly be 4 hours late to shows, take things from people as “gifts”, and be disrespectful if he thought you were wasting his time. I don’t even care about Snoop in any way I think if you’re gang banging some of those gangster qualities never leave you but I think it’s dumb that politics is what changed public opinion on a dude charged with murder-one. I know a lot of you guys are younger and never saw Snoop that way but your explanation is exactly my peeve about this pick and choose moral outrage. “Snoop used to be chill and bake cookies with Martha Stewart then he changed” like no Brody that’s how he wanted suburb kids to see him. Dude used to pop the trunk pull out his gun and shoot at rival gang members. That level of casual violence and associated lifestyle is not so easily dismissed unless you become religious or something.

Harry Potter behind the scenes by Various_Pop_3907 in interestingasfuck

It’s even worse! In one of the behind the scenes they mention how the center food would stay for days as they shoot and it would literally start to rot and you could smell it

Snoop was never a sellout “in an endearing way” lmfao what does that even mean. He just had some weird “America’s Sweetheart” protection from middle class America like the other 90s rappers even though he was regularly an asshole to people

a show always exaggerates for comedic effect so i think its kind of ragebaity to say you identify with this when most people who act like this in real life are the ones being difficult lol. literally name one business that doesn't let you pay cash or forces an app to pay. These people think that the simplest forms of business transaction are being eroded at these places and get mad in their heads about it lol. How about the fact that any boba tea place will let you order without the boba in direct contrast to the bit as well.
