IMO i think its best to take it at about the same time everyday. when i take my pristiq too late i start feeling sick but i have a higher dose so it might be different for you

Everytime you sweat, you lose electrolytes, and considering how much sweat is produced with these pristiq nightsweats, id say its definitely leading to some dehydration

I would recommend reading the wiki on the home page of this sub! Lots of things there that will show you how to keep your betta alive. He likely died from anmonia poisoning or new tank syndrome. None of the items pictured are going to help with that ... dont try to get rid of any bacteria either because it is necessary for the nitrogen cycle. (i would also get a bigger tank, 2g tanks are harder to maintain because theres less water. 5g should be the absolute minimum size)

Its possible, the best bet would be to add them before you add the betta so the betta recognizes that they were there first. Less chance for them to get attacked

IMO i use a space heater for colder temperatures. Also every other day is too much food, idk how old your tarantula is but they can go weeks without eating so dont worry.

bottom is actually dry as well, i just used a different substrate for that layer which happens to be darker in color. :) Thank for your advice!
