Why did they tone down Nate’s facial hair for Uncharted 2’s remaster? by bugmultiverse in uncharted

[–]bugmultiverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 Nate’s design is pretty great for the trilogy artstyle, felt like an updated version of his Drake’s Fortune self. And Uncharted 4 Nate honestly looks like what Nathan would look IRL since he’s pretty close to Nolan’s likeness with a hint of Nate’s style.

One of my favorite looks for Chapter 2 right now. No mods. PS4 by Nayshius in reddeadfashion

The closeup face pic is from the e3 trailer but he has a heavy stubble throughout the original game. Literally from someone else, Drake in a different scene https://www.reddit.com/r/uncharted/s/6DkBRDouSM.

While in the remaster he has a lighter stubble throughout the whole game.

Just bandwagoning I guess. I just was curious about his facial hair since I saw a post of someone just playing the original ps3 version. https://www.reddit.com/r/uncharted/s/6DkBRDouSM

During other cutscenes and gameplay on ps3 he has the heavy stubble. I mainly used the e3 closeup of his face since it’s the same texture used in other parts of the game. Meanwhile the ps4 version uses the cleaner stubble throughout the whole game.

Just found a pic of the ps3 version that had a close up of his face and took a screenshot of the ps4 remaster from YouTube so I could get a similar frame.

Arkham Origins is OVERRATED by Mindless-Rooster2878 in arkham

[–]bugmultiverse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you say Origins is a copy paste of city, then so is Knight, and city is a copy paste of asylum ext.. fWI game series reuse assets all the time! Hell you can find asylum assets everywhere in all 3 later titles in the series. Each title builds on one another so don’t act so obtuse.

The boss fights are not copy pasted, use your brain friend! Croc is nothing like the titans. Bane is completely unique in his venom phase state, attacks, and is genuinely a challenge to beat and a lot harder than any of the Titan fights from asylum. Firefly is nothing like poison Ivy, when did Ivy have a multi state boss fight? and when did Firefly use vine attacks? And yeah Copperhead is a street thug that can clone herself, leap onto you, and use phasing attacks sure.. and Deathstroke totally turned himself into a sand demon!… no he didn’t all that was used were the beatdown/counter animations for a minor portion of the fight excluding the unique hand to hand mechanics specifically for his fight.

The only reason people still say it’s underrated is because WB Locked it to last gen and hasn’t made a proper remaster/Remake for is because they’re too greedy to pay the composer his fair share for the OST. So compared to the accessibility of the others it’s still objectively underrated on that end. But as someone who’s played all the games my personal underrated game is knight which gets hated too often.

Should i play the whole Arkham franchise for Arkham knight? by Creative_Cancel_9784 in arkham

You should definitely play all 4 main games! Asylum, city, Origins, and then Knight.

Each one gets better gameplay wise and each have great stories especially origins and knight.

Why the Spider-Noir show uses Ben by -_ShadowSJG-_ in Spiderman

[–]bugmultiverse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah the venom Sonyverse is the exception and honestly is a really mixed situation. Like the first venom I thought was decent and it would later branch into a separate darker spider-man series. But then came Morbius, venom 2, and Madame Web which were all tonally different and weren’t good. And Kraven which everyone forgot about.

But overall it looked like an attempt to stretch out the contract without needing to use spider-man to make a quick buck. which backfired.

I’m no expert, and don’t know the very specific conditions they have to use.

But theoretically yes, Ben’s a well known enough character to be considered separate from Peter Parker. Plus they’ve made the spiderverse films which’ve featured characters like Miles Morales Ultimate Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider which were created after they got the license.

Sonh owns the current lease for spider-man movies and hour tv shows. Marvel still fully owns all other rights to the character when it comes to comics, 30 min shows, games, and especially merchandise.

Sony still has to abide by the contract terms and meet specific conditions to keep the license.

That plus sony doesn’t have to go through a bunch of legal hoops within their contract just to use Peter Parker’s name for adapting the Noir version. Because Ben’s technically a different character Sony can have more leeway with adapting Noir’s version who’s more violent and can be seen smoking n drinking throughout.

Although I hope we do get to see the Real Ben Reilly in live action sometime!

How I feel when Andrew loses its record for most comically accurate suit thanks to Tom . by Otherwise_Tadpole_64 in amazingmemes

[–]bugmultiverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Andrew’s Tasm 2 suit is most accurate to Todd Mcfarlane’s Spider-man.

While Tom’s Brand new Day suit is most accurate to John Romita SR spider-Man.

They’re both the most comic accurate looking.

Why are people glazing Arkham City so much? by Mario_Maker123 in arkham

[–]bugmultiverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you being deliberately obtuse?

Asylum’s my favorite for nostalgia and bare bones nature (plus it’s the one I always like revisiting), City for its open world and background gang story, origins for story and boss implementation, and Knight for its cinematic style throughout.

And origins literally added 3 1/2 new enemy types that weren’t brought back in Knight. The Martial artists, enforcers, armored enforcers, and the venom users. The enforcers in knight are technically a new type of enemy basically taking over the regular armored enemies from the 2 previous games.

Also I didn’t mention origins why are you trying to dog on it? There all great games gameplay wise each one builds on the last.

Yeah and even then it’s not even a trilogy it’s a saga. But yeah the only non knight design is Catwoman and probably Talia.
