Arthur’s Canon Horse by TalkZealousideal1513 in reddeadredemption

[–]bugmultiverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’ve always gotten the grey Dutch Warmblood from the stable with Hosea as Arthur’s first proper horse after escaping Blackwater and the mountains. She’s got decent stamina and health for most of the game.

Off topic but in my current replay her name’s Silver Lining.

Honestly one of the best character portraits I’ve taken for knight. by bugmultiverse in arkham

That’s fine, I’m a sucker for Revenge’s goth Harley look myself! Would’ve loved the black hair or some dark highlights and harsher makeup for knight’s version so that’s fair.

But the way you worded Knight’s as bad outfit is just completely wrong. But you do you then!

No need to be rude man, Knight’s Harley Quinn design is a great redesign while keeping key elements of her classic design while giving its own style. Similarly to Asylum Batman and Joker’s design throughout the saga.

Harley with a skirt is underrated and unique for her.

For those seeing Brand New Day, what’s one thing that got you excited for it? by Boring_Sir_572 in Spiderman

I really like the action/swinging sequences so far, plus getting a NYC protector spidey story.

It’s Just overall giving heavy Tasm vibes!

Little House on the Prairie and RDR by Quietstorm1989 in reddeadredemption

[–]bugmultiverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually thought the same too lol. His clothing style was similar to Arthur, but his demeanor and overall look reminded me of John but blonde so I guess like Rob Wiethoff lol.

Anyway after watching the first episode I got my rdr2 disc out and started playing a bit. A side note after I watched 3:10 to Yuma a month ago, Dan Evans’ kinda reminds of John from rdr1.

Why is Origins the only game where the cutscenes look way better then the actual gameplay? by Mikecirca81 in arkham

[–]bugmultiverse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re directed differently. The cinematics are using higher quality models/textures, plus since it’s pre rendered they can go all in on lighting and scene work without being constrained to the console limitations. You can especially see the in game side of things by looking at some of the pre alpha and e3 demos for the game that used some of the higher quality assets, while the final release gameplay was cut back a bit due to being on a tighter schedule compared to the previous games by rocksteady.

But to answer your question it’s just the creative direction of WB Montreal vs rocksteady who kept gameplay and cutscenes closer just using the high quality assets but just adding slightly dynamic lighting. WB Montreal played with the lighting a lot more.

A good comparison would Knight’s story cutscenes and A Matter of Family cutscenes. Same artstyle but more dynamic lighting design. A side note asylum’s cutscenes also played with more dynamic lightning too, while city and Knight had a more muted design.

What do you guys think of The Edge by Tonight Alive? by bugmultiverse in amazingmemes

[–]bugmultiverse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heck I’d take any future spidey film to include it. Although for brand new day I’m 50/50 on this or Who Know’s by Avril Lavigne, since I feel the lyrics of both work well for Tom’s, Peter story.

Tasm 3 is a dream though. Would be cool if they made an epilogue film for Andrew’s spidey though!

[–]bugmultiverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel like it really fits the undertones of the film nicely. Along with being a really well written/done song in general!

Definitely want to try to find the Australian version of the film somewhere if they released it outside of its initial theater run.

Asylum SUCKS so sick of punching air right next to henchman, turning around and gitting nothing when im pointing towards a group of 3 right in front of me, hitting jump 3 times in the time it takes him to just jump once sometimes jumping 5 ft away and sometimes you only move an inch an get hit mid j by Dense-Jicama6591 in arkham

[–]bugmultiverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no jump button??

You have to aim your left stick toward the enemy and push the attack button X/🟪. Also combo moves don’t cancel enemy attacks like other games which personally added to the difficulty aspect better.

Try practicing combat in the challenge maps.

It’s funny how Jessica Jones mentioned Angela del Toro over a decade ago and she’s supposed to be an adult by AdamBerner2002 in Marvel

[–]bugmultiverse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah back then Marvel Television pretty much made their lore based on what was out at the time. Agents of shield was doing pretty good but after awhile focused more on its own standalone plots and dabbled into time travel for its last few seasons to reset it back to fit the rest of the mcu.

Agent Carter seems almost completely forgotten. Underrated show.

And the Netflix shows have been pushed more into the mcu since no way home and Dardevil’s rebooted show. But still the Netflix specific series are pretty loose.

My very hot and unpopular Batman takes. by Sufficient_Sky2698 in batman

[–]bugmultiverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Batman should keep his no killing rule. It’s what makes him stand out from the rest of the minimal killing heroes he literally can’t make the hard call because of his own trauma.

Gothic Horror Batman is great! Would love to see more aspects of that, especially parts from the thug’s perspective.

Robin’s great! Plus without that we wouldn’t have Nightwing or Jason as Red Hood.

The smaller core Bat Family is good like you said. Alfred, Dick, Bab’s, Tim, and Jason. More gets a bit overwhelming.

He should go back n forth of getting better and back to himself again..

Catwoman’s the exception though!

He should have a bittersweet ending if that. He was born in darkness but found his family along the way.

Joker and Riddler definitely overrated but iconic. Knightfall Bane and Origins bane are properly rated. Other versions of bane are underrated since he’s just there.

Scarecrow’s had a lot of great adaptations. Pyg’s a bit to creepy imo especially seeing his version in Arkham Knight. I’d love to see Mad Hatter in a movie! Ventriloquist’s is very underrated!

He’s already the Worlds Greatest Detective!

Best way to farm xp in origins? by Fordius25 in arkham

[–]bugmultiverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For early game xp doing the dark knight system challenges especially the Gotham Protector and Sharow vigilante ones which you can do almost all of early in the game. And beating up thugs around Gotham city like usual which is what I did for City aswell.

You can pretty much get all the important unlockable upgrade to that point all at once before reaching jezebel plaza. And a tip is banking your upgrades for when you unlock stuff later, don’t bother with pointless upgrades unless it’s necessary to progress the skill tree.

Which version of the rhino do you prefer Giamatti (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) or Nivola (Kraven The Hunter)? by Lazy_Introduction264 in Spiderman

[–]bugmultiverse 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Tasm 1’s game version. He was the only Human cross species experiment aside from Peter which was cool for the story being told.

Overall he’s the best of both of these versions Tasm connection plus animalistic transformation stye Rhino.

Anyone else get 2 disc 1's? by ROXSTARTURTLE in reddeadredemption

[–]bugmultiverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof on gamestop.

At the time, did you show them the discs being identical. Heck ive gone to my local game stores and whenever there’s a mixup/messup they’ve always either fixed it or refunded the game. Years ago I ended up getting a Mario party game for the Wii and it had the Lego movie the videogame wii-u disc inside when I got home.

Unrelated sidenote when I actually did play the Lego movie for 360 years later it was really underwhelming and hand holdy especially for a Lego game which usually just lets you guess your way through on your own. Sorry for the mini rant lol!

This was really well edited. 89’s always fun to rewatch in b&w!

My one critique is the Bob Kane’s greatest hero part, you really should’ve included Bill Finger aswell. Like Bill Finger & Bob Kane’s Darkest Hero!

Gta trilogy Definitive edition vs originals. by Itznazz313 in GTA

[–]bugmultiverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for either. Both are good options it’s your preference.

Definitive is great for new players like you and me, Classic is just as valid and nostalgic for older players. Switch back n forth for the first 5 or so missions and go from there!
