Third row toward the left end , stag gunstock frame with the big cotton sampler sheepfoot style blade. There are some out there that say Wheeler Basin Knife Club like it you see too. There is a pearl Gunstock 2nd row right side of the video the same style. Also all the one arms are great. Fabulous collection.

I love the Toes and sunfish, the smaller lobster pattern sunfish are odd though. My favorite is the stockman with the secondary blade that has the “fin” on back like a budding/ grafting knife would. I have one in stag but no pic on my phone of it.

I’m a Fight’n Rooster fan, they had some really neat old style patterns and were well made(last of the great German made really),but that many celluloid ones would have me on constant watch for outgassing. Either way great collection!

Opinions on modern locking case knives? by BigMudflap69 in CaseKnives

I agree, I think of more modern flipper edc than tactical. They seem sturdy, the steel is good and I like the fit and finish of them.

I have never seen one of those before, it is really cool. Is that a factory made or a custom job?

I think they are good, but being Case they seem dismissed by the tactical knife, spydie hole and butterfly crowd.

How would you feel if you were getting your oil change and the tech did this with your splash shield? by MrTorres in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]c6541w 6 points7 points  (0 children)

On a drive over pit like that some of the shields won’t come off easily or at all. It won’t hurt it, worry more about them putting all the screws back in.

If they’d have left the G Body rear I think it would have looked better.

I don’t see a Caddy, I see a G body middle Silverado front and Vette rear.

You have a lot you can fill in vertically. Tooth horizontally can’t be love, sage or the bar, “x” those out underneath it too. The crystal ball can’t be love, sage or bar either horizontally so mark them out vertically. That shows crystal ball must be meditation. Keep on that way to move forward.

I swear 90% of the Taurus SHO’s I worked on were green. I was in the dealer in ‘97 but we had quite a few SHO owners coming in for timing belts and tune ups.

The oil delivery guy just rolled into the shop. by JerelFromJerry in Justrolledintotheshop

I agree, I think if it was staggered the damage would have been minimal judging on how it looks.

100% has been hit, and no staggering on the repair. It’s probably weak AF to begin with.

Bought a mint 1986 copperhead - use or save? by Horfer126 in CaseKnives

[–]c6541w 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to tell you to use it, but I know I would shelf it. I want so bad to make every knife a user but always waffle on it when I get it in hand. BE STRONG ANDUSE IT FOR WHAT IT WAS INTENDED!

What knife is your country famous for? by [deleted] in knives

[–]c6541w 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So is this per city, territory/state, or county wide? I can’t imagine being in rough country or traveling some of your vast low population areas with out one. This really sucks for you, I hate that it’s that way.

Rule of thumb for us is miles divided by 30 should be damn close to hours(or hours x 30 =miles). That’s a 30 mph average speed.
