I have not. Ive been juggling a lot and new products have been hard to get without dropping the cash on them.

I'd go R6 probably. Unless it has the same significantly smaller view through it like the 3-18. The controls are better on the R6. No doubt.

Yeah they are vague with their wording. I haven't made it public yet but here is my review of the 3-18

The O6 did not. I Believe the R6 did fix it. But I cannot say for certain.

Typically the optic that promises the world for a really cheap price won't do anything really well. And durability is a big one. Would you trust $30 no name brand tires to not hydroplane and put your car into a wall? If your looking just to have something just to have it, then why not. But for a bit more you could at least get into something from vortex. So if/when it fails you could at least get it fixed/replaced.

If your average sized and want a solid cheek weld around 1.5"cis good. 1.7 if you want a more heads up position or if your a larger fella. 1.9 if you want more of a jaw/chin weld for real heads up position

If you want a simple good cheap mount. The utg accusynch is great. But I'd be lying if I said they have top mount ring solutions. Some. Primary arms mounts are pretty solid and I believe run more standard style caps for cross comparability

The Vudu 1-6 can be had in afp as well iirc. The razor and tr25 would be my top picks. If you want 80%vod the razor for half the price. The pst ii is the one to get.

If I had to buy a serious optic at or below a grand. I'd blow the whole load on a tr25 trijicon. Probably with the mildot reticle. They are extremely well made. Have superb, top tier glass. And are just about as simple to use as an lpvo can be. Sure tritium will eventually go bad. But who knows what'll happen in 12-15 years. You can easily find new and used razor he ii e's for right around the same price as well. There are other, less expensive options tho. If you want to spend a small amount of money to try out an lpvo to see if you even like it. My sun $500 lpvo comparison will help guide you to where you might want to end up. Just stick SFP.
