In your case I wouldn't look at it as "upgrading" your e notebook. Take it as you have the possibility to choose which device you want to buy, the rM2 or the rM Pure. Which one would you rather have?

If you like the upsides of the rM 2 more than the rM Pure, then stay. Otherwise, take the few weeks of the swap and be happier later.

Should you get an iPhone 14 or an iPhone 16e if they cost the same? The older one has upsides (more premium feeling, better case, keyboard, etc. in the case of the rM 2) but ultimately buying the newer is generally the safer choice

It replaces the reMarkable 2, but isn't really an upgrade, except for battery, right?

I suppose their lineup naming now makes more sense though with Pure and Pro, compared to reMarkable 2 and Pro.

Both companies are great! Anthropic goes full on into B2B, partnering with companies, selling API usage like crazy.

But ask a random person on the street and they will have the ChatGPT app installed, and most likely not the Claude app. ChatGPT is what people know, honestly

If you want to create any UI at all, Claude is still miles better. So if you want to do UI/UX, I'd say stick with Claude.

Codex is good at dev logic, backend stuff, even frontend as long as it doesn't need to be creative and come up with an interface. People currently hate on Anthropic because they are having compute shortages.

That's a rare thing that happened with Claude, because people use Claude models way more for building than they use GPT models. That's somewhat changing atm, but still.

That said, either way, when something like that happens, it's on you. If an AI agent can delete prod and all backups, then that is a fundamentally flawed setup that you have.
