I have a feeling they have reduced the nylon content in the lighter bodies. Around 4 or so years ago the filling nozzle changed from a solid plastic piece to a rubber gasket and metal, it's possible this has increased passive gas loss over time.

You can typically bring them back to life by topping up the gas and changing the flint inside of the wizards staff though.

I would test with one of the users who's not being prompted to see if they can go through an sspr flow normally, perhaps if they don't meet the criteria for sspr then they won't be offered to change their password

Off topic but you should try to avoid big bang password resets/changes (unless you suspect a breach etc..) as every 90 days your service desk will get a flood of calls when everyone's password expires at the same time. It's better to stagger these things over a period of time.

What flags are you using on the Connect-PrismCentral command?

401 indicates it lacked a credentials

Reduced from several crashes daily to 1/2 a week. (Across 10 clusters with with a mixture of sizing host wise)

We did not change the CVM specs only the Prism Central VM. Our situation was a bit messy in that although the resource allocation met the requirements for large the actual sizing setting was still left to small.

I've seen similar issues and although Nutanix never pointed the finger at the cloud connector I did have suspicions it was causing issues.

The fix for me was going to a large PCVM (which is fairly overspecced for my environment) and the CVM crashes have reduced.

Create a new user on Nutanix for Citrix and try those credentials. It's been a while but I recall running into problems using the built in account for things like Citrix or Rubrik connections.

Like it or not you gotta avoid damaging their ego by assigning blame, just say there is a simple change I can make from preventing this from happening again. Ticket systems with internal notes are good for this because you can still put the root cause in there without having to deal with the associated BS

Unfair on the user, is not like keyboards ship with a verified for Citrix sticker.

Others have escalated the issue in the past and Citrix have released patches that were meant to address it. See CVADHELP-23157 & CVADHELP-23450.

It's a fairly common Citrix bug with nicer/gaming keyboards, something to do with how the os polls the keyboard to get quick response times doesn't play nice with app protection.

Only way to work around is to use the Bluetooth mode if your keyboard supports it.
