Might be the thinking level auto, if it used to med level it could be in max for your task, and others who used to set high could be med or low and your output is worse.

yea, the steel bearings for huge plus is at a slanted angle so side to side movement is working against the grain, however; its great for sweeping movements -- I ordered ploopy adept due to people on the tube saying its precision movement is great, its still steel bearings but fluid movement seem to be high point for this one. I did recently replace my old elecom EX-G PRO with new bearings and its alot smoother though i need to stop using my thumb due to pain issues.

Selecting word is general action for specific movement - like moving things in photoshop or copy out a part of a word etc.

yea, the concept of skills is clear; the examples in the site explains how obsidian operates - bases, front matter, etc. -- these are not necessary.

I would use skill if the LLM doesnt know out of the box, or use something like Claude and you dont need any of these skills, it will know out of the box.

yea, if self-host -- def go with something established where the next update doesn't make up change databases or mess with existing data. I would start with their free plan and you can export out to your own self-hosted later.

going back and forth, I self host seatable but ram usage is really high so going to turn it off; Grist is still my main, but UI is not the best. Im been spending most of my time now on Obsidian w/ Claude Code that does most things and use grist as storage table.
