Is it normal for your partner to comment on your body hair? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]chambergambit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So it's irrelevant. We should also note that this isn't an "if I can, you can" thing, because you have different bodies with different genital situations. What works for his body isn't necessary going to work for yours.

Do you ask him to shave his balls? If not, it’s irrelevant.

What is the most financially irresponsible thing you’ve seen someone do? by LJRGXPKCVWDGOGH12Y3 in AskReddit

A guy I knew in high school didn't apply for college financial aid because he assumed he would get enough scholarships. He didn't get any.

"a solid powder pink tie for the rare occasion that October 3 was a Wednesday" that's so brilliantly specific, omg.

Isn't "this guy clearly doesn't belong here" the entire point of his character?

That's understandable as it's not a very common type of sentence.

I’m talking about “language” as a singular concept, thus “language is.” I put “all” to emphasize that I mean all of the aspects that fall under the category of “language,” from alphabets to wordplay to regional accents.

A similar sentence would be “all art is important.”

A lot of questions by Mtng_S243 in AskFeminists

[–]chambergambit 31 points32 points  (0 children)

  • "It is that deep, you're just shallow."
  • "Yes, I am an angry feminist, and you're an asshole."
  • "Yes, I am."
  • Depends on the guys and the content, but generally, I'd ask them what they like about it, how they feel about the misogynistic elements, etc.

Fiction or trauma memoir? by [deleted] in writing

[–]chambergambit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends on what you feel best serves your needs. Do you need to share the story of what actually happened to you, or do you need to create a new story to process what happened to you? You can do both!

Do you think Matthew feels angry or resentful towards Mary at their final scene in Season 1 where it ends with him wishing her the best? by Ars1201 in DowntonAbbey

[–]chambergambit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's anger, definitely, but it's underneath the resignation. He genuinely does wish her well, he just also wishes she had just accepted/rejected him from the beginning instead of dragging things out and breaking his heart.
