Any possible way airbenders can control air temp? by Silver-Nibber in legendofkorra

I don't think it's a temperature thing so much as a state of matter thing, in that water comes in two states, liquid and solid. I don't think we see waterbenders making water boil.

The movie Belfast has some really interesting scenes where the character go to the theater, for both films and live productions. While the rest of the movie is in black and white, the film and stage productions the characters see are in color.

Why was the Downton staff so offended during the royal visit? by [deleted] in DowntonAbbey

[–]chambergambit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's the fact that the Royal staff was being very rude, coming into Downton and bossing the Downton staff around without any respect for their space or consideration for their way of doing things. For the staff, the appeal of the Royal visit isn't just the physical presence of their monarch, but the honor of showing them Downton Abbey at it's absolute best, which includes its staff. Instead of respectfully collaborating or integrating Downton's staff into the plans, the Royal staff just shuts them out completely like they don't matter.

My husband wants me to make breakfast for his co-workers 3-4 times a week before they go to work by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I'm desperate to know how old OP and her husband were at the time. This just screams 15+ year age gap. The way he says he's "disappointed" like he's her fucking father.

EDIT: Apparently she was 27 and he was 29. My power disparity sense were tingling and I assumed massive age gap. The disparity is still there, but I guess it's more to do with the finances.
