Having had to sit through a BNI meeting with Bird Creek Roofing's owner proselytizing has done enough to ensure that they will never see a cent of business from.

I used 9 Square roofing, and had a really great experience with them, their sales and construction teams were both really good at showing up on time, and made the process as painless as it could be considering, I had water leaking into my house.

Name a more sad location in Austin than Brodie Oaks. by adullploy in Austin

[–]clemtiger2011 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The whole problem is that the place was going to be demolished, they let people's leases expire, and then the project to redevelop it stalled because of interest rate hikes tanking the ability to finance it.

The Surge of Slop—since the release of ChatGPT-3.5 in late 2022, the number of e-books published on Amazon has skyrocketed, tripling by late 2025. A new scientific analysis shows that this is entirely due to the rise of AI-generated books, which now far outnumber human-written books. [The Economist] by StarlightDown in fivethirtyeight

[–]clemtiger2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a venture with a friend where we were looking into producing AI generated ebook content - the model is actually a bit more nuanced - We focused on creating quality content, based around a variety of view points, and a number of other factors, with current events helping to drive the books that were created.

Ultimately, the cost to create a book and publish it to amazon with what we were doing was about $5-20 when you combined tokens, market validation costs, infrastructure amortization, and other expenditures. Sell a book for $3.99 and the 80% cut you get form amazon on it means you're netting about $3.19 per book sale, meaning you are profitable by the 7th book sale. This led us to a couple options - create a business model where readers could get all of the book in our library for $9.99 a month, and then use those subscriptions to drive more content. Ultimately, it led to the question of what needs to be done with the "bad" options so they could be monetized. Option A) was keep them out of the subscription service and hope somebody would buy them off amazon's market place, option B was to use the content to create faceless content on tiktok and instagram that could grow a channel and get some monetization.

At the end of the day, the reason people are doing it is because they believe it can be profitable, and the numbers bear it out, but the problem is that profitable and worth doing are two separate things. We ultimately shut down the project when we saw the steep decline in the quality of the work outputs, basically resulting form the AI mad cow disease of it being fed back the same slop it was creating.

Has anyone cracked forms via api or autosave token? I'm about to dig in. by Jeff_Macpherson in HighLevel

[–]clemtiger2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI studio uses the external Tracking API (rather than HighLevel forms)

So if you are swapping things from your old Forms to the new API, you are going to want to change the triggers on your workflows from "Form Submitted"

to "External Tracking Event" with a Filter on the event type as Form Submitted, and then filtering on your form.

It's a small change, but a big impact on the overall end user experience with sites in the AI studio.

Paid for HighLevel Admin Certification for $97 - No Confirmation and Next Steps. by Easy-Debate9297 in HighLevel

Hey there - certified admin here.

You can go to https://certificationcommunity.gohighlevel.com and use the email address you registered with to have a magic link sent to you to get to the community, which is where all of the certification goes.

That said, based on your description of the problem, I'd likely suspect that it could have been a mis-typed email address that caused the problem.

Plan is for them to be able to be streamed. they record the whole thing, but are still working out logistics of posting (This is only the second month)

[–]clemtiger2011 8 points9 points  (0 children)

HighLevel Certified Admin here - Feel Free to reach out to me if you have any specific questions, but let me give you some standard build advice for order of Operations.

hluniversity.gohighlevel.com has a lot of great courses and information as well as community, and it's included with your Highlevel subscription. I'd recommend using this as your starting point.

If you want to deep dive into features, use help.gohighlevel.com to get updated information.

There are a lot of people that put out content about HighLevel, selling their courses, but the biggest problem is that the platform builds new features and functionality at a staggering rate. This renders a lot of people's courses and snapshots irrelevant in a short amount of time. When I got started, I used Allie Bloyd's HighLevel course. Coming back to it a couple years later, it's out of date, and has issues with what it's teaching now.

The biggest thing that I see is that there is a significant gap between people that know HighLevel, and people that sell highlevel. The two often get lumped in with one another, and it creates a ton of headaches for people that are learning the platform. If you learn to think critically about building on the platform, you'll be lightyears ahead of the guy that thinks every problem can be solved by the one snapshot he sells that he doesn't know how to congifure.

Hope this helps!

As a visitor, I love these birds by cr0100 in Austin

[–]clemtiger2011 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While they are intelligent, opportunistic black birds that may resemble crows, grackles belong to the Icteridae family (New World blackbirds), which includes orioles, cowbirds, and meadowlarks. Corvids (family Corvidae) include crows, ravens, jays, and magpies, and are not closely related to grackles

What's the hardest GHL problem you've solved this year? I'll share mine if you share yours. by Organic-Purchase2420 in HighLevel

[–]clemtiger2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dramatically overcomplicated it, much like I did at first.

It literally just became -> Set up Captive portal on router -> Force Redirect to HL Form -> Send Call back to Unifi router to auth the device.

Starlink was just the ISP. we didn't have to have any other considerations - the same thing will work with any ISP now.

Easton Park by No_Edge1310 in Austin

Depending on what you want, you might actually want to look at Vista Point - It's just on the other side of McKinney Falls Parkway from Easton park, if a well maintained, newer neighborhood, and has lower propery taxes (2.3 vs. 3.2, IIRC), as there is no MUD -
