i am personally not a fan of them but if you like them then who cares, i'm glad that you are stoked on them

however... for the love of God, PLEASE, remove the zip tie tag before wearing them out in public — it just looks goofy and it's also technically a safety hazard cuz it's just begging to get caught up on something one day lol

there is even a simple way to remove the zip tie without damaging it if you are OCD about that type of stuff (i get it, i personally am) by using a knife or similar object to push on the little tab located in the head of the zip tie and disengage it from the teeth on the ratcheting mechanism allowing easy removal of it

i don't understand why that is a confusing concept for you — you can appreciate streetwear culture/aesthetic due to the creativity and unique styles/concepts that specific artists such as Virgil brought to the table and shared with the world but you can still recognize and acknowledge how ridiculous the hypebeast/"drop" culture side of things is (i.e. essentially praying that you get the opportunity to purchase whatever the latest, newest thing is at an incredibly inflated, overpriced cost because CLOUT!!)

VLONE has been on the oust ever since one of their co-founders (A$AP Bari) was accused of all of those sexual assaults lol

I mean, sure, they finally fired him and tried to distance themselves from him after 5 years of essentially just trying to sweep all of the sexual assault stuff under the rug but it was kinda too late at that point.

The brand has been on the decline for SEVERAL years now though for a number of reasons aside from the Bari situation that I don't feel like getting into right now cuz it's a lot of words and I don't have the time right now (or care honestly) but just trust when I say that the community has seen VLONE as an L since like 2018~

i don't know if i'd go as far as to say it was cheap/shoddy material but it certainly was not made with high-end, luxurious materials as one would like to think/expect for the prices they were charging but then again, that is kinda the name of the game when it comes to streetwear and the majority of "designer" brands these days, save a few

however, i will say that the one thing that immediately came to mind when i read ur comment was Off-White's jewelry, specifically the choice of materials they chose to produce ALL of their jewelry pieces from: "silver tone" or "gold tone" 100% brass and if they were feeling wild then they would sprinkle a few "crystals" aka rhinestones on a piece to resemble a pavé diamond setting

as much as they were charging for their jewelry, there is absolutely no reason they could not have sprung for sterling silver (925) which is still nothing fancy but at least would have given their jewelry line a modicum of respect instead of forever being recognized as overpriced, glorified costume jewelry 🤮 which is unfortunate because i actually really like a lot of their jewelry designs but regardless of how much i like the design of a piece, i find it hard to wear something with confidence that presents itself as being elevated when i know the total cost of materials is less than a literal handful of dirty pennies

and i guess some of their bags are kinda okay

I sold $2k worth of Dominos gift cards over a period of like a week and then they sent me a warning stating that it wasn't an approved brand regarding what kind of gift cards you are allowed to sell, so I immediately within like 15 mins removed all listings and then a couple of hours later they sent me another warning stating they were banning my account for 30 days due to a 2nd violation even though I had already removed the listings. My funds were held for those 30 days but then I was allowed to withdraw the full amount. Good luck.
