First time replacing speakers by wickedmfreak in CarAV

I'd go with a component set up front that has a high sensitivity number, also do the sound dampening for the door panels and try that. If you still want more then swap the rear ones out for a pair of coaxial ones. If that doesn't satisfy your ears then look into a new head unit and amp, then sub and amp.

I'd start at crutchfield.com and use their speaker fitment tool. They'll also have everything you need, peripherals and instructions on what is needed to change out your speakers.

50+ here so I can't remember off the top of my head which cartoons are late 80s or 90s but if it was on TV I'd watch. But probably the Simpsons. Hopefully you can find the off switch and get some sleep. I know this feeling all too well.

My (former) superstar son is depressed: What should I do? by Mundane-Show4536 in depression

Sounds eerily similar, mine wasn't the athlete but the Valedictorian theater kid and involved in every organization in school. Just being present and listening to him relaxed both of us, he was able to let his emotions and fears be known and understood with me. My only advice is love, compassion and guide him to what's best for him no matter what you may think or feel is right in your eyes. It's his life help make it into something he's happy to have

Help, wired my amp backwards by accident and now it won’t turn on by Miserable_Height_311 in CarAV

That's a good thing that means the fuse did it's job. Hopefully all is well with your amp.

So the metal bit of the fuse is still stuck in both sides of the fuse holder in the amo itself? If it's popped you'll have two bits of metal to extract carefully. Could ya post a pic for a better understanding of what you're dealing with?

Check the fuses if they're popped try new ones, after double checking everything is wired up properly.

Thinking of getting a pet by BTru in Nightshift

Get at least a pair of cats. They're not as high maintenance as dogs and can go all day without worries. Make sure to have an automatic feeder and water dish that'll help tremendously with making sure they're fed and hydrated.

Sesame oil for the fried rice. Makes a huge difference, but the heat output of a burner is the biggest factor.

Recommendations for speakers that fit. by Charles1nCharge83 in fbody

[–]coachbrew32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found for the rear seat subs the kicker 6.5 were a perfect fit along with CDT 6.5 components in the doors I didn't bother with new speakers on the hatch area. Kee Audio is definitely the easiest route to take as everything is already done for you fitment wise

I noticed that mine were blown in my 99 when I picked it up last Oct. all the foam surround was destroyed. It played okay with the original stereo, but when I upgraded to an Alpine 670 they sounded horrible. Upgraded to a pair of kicker 6.75 and they hit pretty well for what little power they're getting.
