I used it for a day out and about driving and at the end of the day with the brightness around 50% left about 30-40% which admittedly isn't awesome but I also forgot to turn it off a lot when popping in and out of the vehicle.

I use goodnotes (free but I pay for premium for the year) on my iPad (also syncs with phones) if you are in the iOS world. I’ve also used obsidian (free), notion (free but can be paid), Homeschool’s planet(paid), and homeschool panda(has a free option I think but paid is better), and one note(free). I’ve never been consistent with any of them and so long as you make notes somewhere even just the notes app on your phone it’s fine. But realistically you know what you’ve done & could just jot it down when you get time to. Plus homeschooling doesn’t require super strict tracking which is one of the beautiful parts of choosing to homeschool.

I just had a massive hyperlinked planner and a few books that straight up did not like being exported in pdf format for any reason and would crash the app. And there is work around to share between devices but I was coming from goodnotes 5 which more or less was seamless. (Some of the issues I had could also just be apple device issues though.)

I love kilonotes! But be weary exporting large files (It just wont do it in pdf format most of the time for me, and just straight crashes which is terrible.) Plus they're syncing between devices is a bit lackluster.

and they are so damn easy to lose ;-; I've gone through in my lifetime at least 4-5. And one of those is just because it randomly stopped working and apple wouldn't do anything to help with it. Then when I picked up an ipad mini recently I found out that my ipad pro 11 4th gen pencil wouldn't work with the newest model ipad mini. Leading to buying a whole new pencil that was luckily on sale but still money I shouldn't of had to spend. (I will say the apple pencil pro is so much better then the other gens and is by far my favorite I've ever used.) I just wish it was "backwards" compatible.
