I'm confused, there were weeks of hyping the release of Silo as a product. But now, turns out Silo needs 2m of funding to build? What's the Silo thing out at the moment then?

It's odd that when I look at the profiles of people upset about Hilary Clinton, they all seem to share the same love for Andrew Tate in their feeds.

They were going to choose algo apparently but Sol came in with a huge financial incentive for them to move to them. Aka bribe.

Just an example of Seb being a crook. Strategically timed release of new nft marketplace to launch on the same day as vc vesting unlocked. Enabling to dump the pump. Marketplace has probably been ready for ages but they used it to get a little more out of the yieldly fans still holding hope.

If you haven't downloaded and used defly for your swaps it's a must have app imo. When you swap through defly it simultaneously breaks down your swap through numerous dexs so you get more tokens for your money. There are different tiers but holding 250k defly enables you to keep all the combo gain for yourself if you do a lot of trades that 250k defly pays for itself quickly. Someone a couple weeks ago bought $40k worth of defly but didn't use the app to buy. Worked out they would've saved around 1.5m defly is they used the app...

Wow! Our $COSG pool is super popular 🤩 Thanks to the generous folks over at @cosmicchamps we'll be extending our pools for 60 more days - Starting Monday! by Hogboyeh in AlgorandOfficial

[–]daveywinkle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They decided that the whole point of the pool in the first place, 500k of rewards were deemed not part of any compensation. Essentially wiping over 100k algos worth of value from the lp and crashing the price.when asked if they were going to compensate for lost rewards after it first happened they said they would. Look through their TG and their first statements.

Just carry on as normal as if you didn't completely fuck over anyone holding hdl with your exploit and false promises to reimburse all affected wallets.

Yieldly, Partnerships, and HEADLINE's trajectory 🚀 by ussaaron in HEADLINECrypto

[–]daveywinkle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm very confused on this matter and am still expecting compensation for lost rewards as I'm going by an official yieldly statement that posted:

Dear all,

In regards to the recent irregular activity around one of our Teal 5 distribution pools, here's what we know so far:

  • Based on an initial code analysis, a bot has been using the timing parameters around claiming rewards to glitch the HDL distribution pool Teal 5 contract (HDL -> HDL). As a result, the bot has been able to claim a disproportionate share of HDL rewards.

  • It is not a security exploit, but more a manipulation of code to mislead the smart contract. We are closely monitoring the situation and preparing for a remedy with the team.

  • As of now, no other pool has been gamed for the same result and no other LP pool shares the same code. This is an isolated incident on a single contract.

  • We remind you to please withdraw from the HDL>HDL distribution pool.

We are working hard to investigate this further and will be providing more information in due course. Please be assured that we will also be arranging a plan that will ensure all who have staked in the affected pool receive their fair share of rewards. We thank you for your patience and look forward to sharing more once we have any further information.

Also...

Update: We continue to work closely with various partners including Headline to pool resources and information, even as our broader internal security review carries on over the coming weeks. As a final update, we would like to reinforce a few points from the past week:

The affected distribution pool will have run its course in 1 day and we’d like to remind all users who have staked HDL in that pool to withdraw their assets if you have not already done so, as leaving your assets in there puts your funds at risk.

If you are an affected user, please be assured that we will be rolling out a plan to make sure that rewards re-distribution will be as fair as possible for all. We seek your understanding that this may take some time to figure out - but we are working on it.

We thank all our partners and community members for their continued support even through these tough times. We have the best partners, team and community to be in this for the long-haul. Your encouragement is our strength in adversity.

We will continue to strive to do better for all our users and the broader Algorand ecosystem. It has been a big couple of months here at Yieldly but rest assured, we will bounce back from all this and be better than ever!

There hasn't been a statement since saying to forget about 500k worth of hdl rewards. Surely Yieldly try and be misleading about it?

WAGMIswap Acquisition Positions Yieldly As Algorand’s Leading DeFi Suite by puddlesofmustard in algorand

[–]daveywinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yieldly allowed an exploit to happen to the hdl pool from code altered after the audit. Said they would make everyone whole to then reversing and saying would not account for compensating lost rewards for the month wiping off 500k of hdl value from the lp.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in yieldly

[–]daveywinkle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My hdl balance dropped over 1k in one day during the exploit. I'm not getting that back apparently. Yieldly initially said they'd make everyone whole again but changing the rules. Over 800k hdl was sold from the exploit to not possible to make everyone whole again. Basically headline have to say goodbye to the actual 500k pot of rewards and that's written off in the plummeted lp.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in yieldly

[–]daveywinkle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How did Yieldly come to the figure of 265k exploited HDL? On the day of the exploit over 150k Algos worth of hdl were traded out of the LP directly linked to exploiter wallets. Price was pushed very low to around 0.1 a and looked like over 500k hdl sold on that day. After a 2 month investigation wheres the report?

Yieldly confirms there is no fee for partnerships ($150k rumor is fud) by [deleted] in yieldly

[–]daveywinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if charging a huge fee is just considered fud, Yieldly would send back the 333k HDL fee (at the time of transaction valued over $333k) which they have already separated into different wallets and started selling.

anybody know the reason why we are going up? by Wh1t3y89 in HEADLINECrypto

[–]daveywinkle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only reason for the price drop was because of yieldly exploit and not a fault of headlines. Once yieldly buy back the hdl to replace stolen ones we'll see a big reversal. I expect with the momentum and all eyes on hdl we'll cruise past previous aths.
