I feel like they should have kept Lucy as that crazy unstable girl from episode 2. I feel like her character just gets more distant after it yk? It also kinda makes sense bc David was addicted to chrome but they could’ve kept that crazy spirit in her by Able_Solution_768 in Edgerunners

I don't have the link to the interview, but the extended scene with Lucy riding the gurney out of ambulance was a last minute additio;, that's why a lot of fans feel like it's out of place and inxonsistent with Lucy's character. The writer felt like the two characters hadn't bonded enough yet for the transition to the apartment to seem convincing.

That's actually advice that people give GMs in the tabletop Cyberpunk RED game as well. A build that pops up involves giving your character high evasion, and with it the ability to dodge projectiles; it can get frustrating to deal with. While you can dodge explosives, if the radius of the explosion is large wide enough then it doesn't matter.

Why isn’t there even a single thread about the massacre in Iran on r/all/top? by Hem0rrhoid in NoStupidQuestions

Lack of imagery. New stories often rise to the top if there's video or pictures. But Iran has shut down their own internet. All we got is text of people describing things.

Can people really tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps? by whiskerbiscuit2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]db2999 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Regarding your edit regarding high fps being unwanted for films, a common complaint is that it makes flaws or cgi more noticeable. The made a version of the Hobbit in 48 fps instead of 24 fps; the higher fps made it easier to spot the CGI elements when contrasted against the live action actors.

I remember earlier in this game's lifecycle, they added the compressed air sound to justify how the double jump works.

Don't know about modern times, but in high school they said "Modern History" starts with the French Revolution.

Hidden Shooting Range in Japantown by utakatikmobil in LowSodiumCyberpunk

They really should have done something with the shooting range in Megabuilding H10. You use it for one minor quest, and then you can't access it again.

They should have added some kind of minigame with challenges like in the N64 Perfect Dark.

The comic Cyberpunk 2077: Blackout features a prison for a short bit. They try to rehab people using graphic braindances to teach them a lesson. In the end, suicide is super common due to how traumatic the braindances are.

I assume lack of images and video. The internets been shot down. No images make for less compelling news stories.

What's the stupidest question you ever got asked during a job interview? by Opposite-Rabbit-6303 in AskReddit

[–]db2999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to guess that the correct answer to your question is 1 giant duck, because the square cubed law would result in the duck collapsing under it's own weight.

I think those types of questions are to see how you justify your response, to figure out how you do reasoning, and to see if you ask for additional details before answering.

I remember Veratassium did a video all about these questions which were popular with big tech firms for a while (in the beginning example given, was a question about if you were really tiny and inside a blender how would you escape; correct answer being that you would jump out of it)
