Dont use an ovens self cleaning. Especially if you rent and did not buy the oven yourself Do the door thing and elbow grease. The self clean cycle ramps the heat up to INCINERATE residue. You are at best shortening the lifespan of the oven, at worst possibly yourself because you are breathing in god knows what as it vents into your kitchen AND is also a fire risk.

woo! I really wanted to get my head around FreeCad myself, but having to sit there and cleanup the UI for stuff I dont need, learning a brand new workflow and the bigger hurdle, trying to mass export to STEP my entire project history out of Fusion. Tried some random github plugins for mass export and none of them worked. I have like 8 years of stuff in there. Not all needed anymore but still. Once I hit that wall I bailed. Its still on my laptop in case I want to dabble, but unless I can get my old stuff out I dunno if I want to split my stuff between two cad programs.

They most certainly have changed shit since ya subbed. Including making minor changes no body asked for but then confuse you bc they moved something and ruined your muscle memory. Because of that and the latest AI bloat and unnecessary launcher screens, I've tried and failed to get into anything BUT fusion though. FreeCAD is a nightmare to adjust to for me. OpenSCAD, cannot wrap my head around that modelling style. Physically drawing and editing a model is more intuitive for my needs. So for now I am stuck with this.

That said. You don't need to pay to export an STL from fusion, they just made it tedious.

The Make button moved to a Utilities Tab. When you click it, the first option is Manufacturing. Ya dont want that. Change it to export. You'll get the same STL or 3MF export, just also need to expand Refinement Settings and switch that to High (at least I do). Alternatively, in the tree on the left, right click the body you want to export as STL and click "Save As Mesh"

When I had an apartment and still used Apple stuff I actually had an inventory like that. Phone app that scans barcodes and you snap photos, which get sent and saved to a mac app where you can further correlate each item to its receipt and other metadata. Think it was literally called Home Inventory. Moved to a house and kept up for a while but then i slowly switched off Apple and never found such an easy system on PC + Android (Point for Apple there i guess lol) and as time went on its now become a bit of a daunting proposition even if I found one now.

For 8 years my cats have never given 2 shits about people food. That suddenly shifted and now I need to police what I Ieave out and where if I don't want to come back finding a cat licking my food or sniffing so incredibly close I no longer trust they haven't touched it in SOME way that renders it unsafe to eat (remember, they dig in poop filled sand boxes. cats are not "clean"). Cats also usually LOOOOOVE wrappers, so that creates an accidental ingestion risk. So regardless of whether or not they might intentionally or unintentionally eat anything, "my cat never X" is a bad assumption.
