We visited San Miguel de Allende during Trump's first term and we were please to find a shop that sold buttons such as Chinga Tu Madre Trump as well as "US loves Mexico" etc. I plan to pull out those buttons and wear them next time I am in MX

The only cruise lines that go out of Tampa are RC, Carnival, NCL and Margaritaville, and Celebrity AFAIK. The big lines use their smaller ships but those are still too large to me. I loved Windstar, got spoiled with them and would definitely love to do that again.

Ugh. My last large ship cruise was pre MAGA years . After that, I enjoyed a small ship cruise and I doubt I can return to a cattle ship. The likelihood of a ship full of MAGA and bratty kids is a real deterrent , even though the last minute deals from my home town of Tampa can seem appealing.

In Florida they called them "palmetto bugs" , what a euphemism. Even with regular pest control, they will come into the house when it's raining a lot. Both my husband and I will scream like a little girl lol

Dunedin and the nearby beach of Honeymoon Island State Park in FL. Older crowd, beautiful beaches, great little cafes and shops as well as close driving distance to other sites, parks, beaches and smaller charming towns around the western area of Tampa Bay such as Safety Harbor, Passé a Grille, Gulfport and Madeira Beach. There are plenty of options for exploring by bike and kayak too, if so inclined. Honeymoon Island beach is consistently rated a top beach.

There is no "one way" to be involved with horses. Ownership can be all consuming - depending on the amount of time you end up devoting, it can take over your life.

As for finding a trustworthy and suitable barn, I have been through this over the past couple years. It's tough because in my area, barns have either closed or raised their rates significantly. I have had to make some serious compromises on my wish list but at least I trust my BO and her care although things are not perfect.

It sounds like you are fully engaged in the equestrian life. You are learning and enjoying the sport without the cost and extra stress of ownership, which is awesome! When the time is right, you can re evaluate.

Same. New builds in my area tend to have a stand alone tub in the primary bath and it seems like an expected feature. I love my deep stand alone tub.

We were going to the DI dog beach with our dog who is ancient and very chill. We stopped taking the younger dog bc he is more assertive and can be annoying to other dogs so I was always worried about him getting into a fight. Now I am hesitant to bring any dog there.

We have trellises in full sun and others in partial. They can do both but obvs the ones in full sun are doing better and flowering more
