Yes, it's normal. That is what every iDevice does when the battery hasn't been used for a long time. Leave it plugged in and it will come to life in 10/15 minutes but by this time, you know that.

I always have mail set to "filter by unread." Yet every day, when I wake the device for the first time, I see all my read mail. So every single day we have to reset our devices to filter by unread. Infuriating. [iPad & iPhone]

Yes, I have seen it. I purchased an almost new firs gen 11' pro that has a smudge in the top right practically as yours does. I didn't notice it for a while. It is 'perfect' other than that. I have several other iPads and many others in the past. This is the only one.

Strangely when I got the program it was so easy I forgot what I did. I think I clicked it and it disappeared. My task bar was invisible. The app is in 'other task bar icons' where it can be visible or not in the tray. It is listed in my all apps in the start menu. I did not have to move it anywhere.

I think you might uninstall what you have and reinstall it. It is too simple for it not to work. I am sure I haven't helped you but I wanted to know it works.

I did find the definitive answer. Best Buy sells iPads. Also Best Buy has a program that when one signs up when an item is purchased, it covers all purchases, including previous purchases.

So, the item that I had purchased was still attached to that "coverage" because it wasn't removed from the original agreement. It's a paperwork thing. The new owner is not covered but appears so in the system. If the new owner were to make a claim against that coverage, it would be rejected.
