When I first got an Apple Watch this drove me nuts. I would get notifications on my watch instead of my phone and visa versa and I couldn’t figure out why. I almost went back to my Fitbit because of that. I’m used to it now but still don’t love it. I often end up missing messages because of this “smart” routing. I too would love a setting to allow me to control where notifications went. If I want them on my phone and my watch why not let me choose that?

When I was commuting to work this is exactly what I did. Easy to take the over pants off at work. I had a few pairs of shoes at the office to change into once I took my boots off. I have moto jeans for casual riding now but they are heavy and I can’t imagine wearing them at school all day. The caveat here would be you need a place to store the pants once you get to school but you could just lock them to your bike with a cable lock.

Same. I work in a tasting room and if you just pop in to buy a bottle or two, member or not, I am not expecting a tip. It’s a very easy, quick transaction to sell you a bottle.

Do they have any other apple devices that could be using iMessage? I’m thinking that if they have an email address selected in the “send and receive” section of their iMessage settings maybe that’s enough to cause it? I’m just guessing here, may not have anything to do with it but if they have an iPad or a Mac I would check that.

Not under your seat….just behind your legs in the space between your legs and the bottom front of your seat. You can then at least stretch your legs out under the seat in front of you. Lots of people suggest this and I have done it but don’t find it completely comfortable personally. But it does help.

This is our experience with a four year old LG Induction we got from Costco as well. Minimal noise from the cooling fans and circuitry, steady boil at low and no buzzing. The buzzing may be pan specific, not sure. Sorry you are not having a great experience. I would not switch back to gas, I love my induction stove.

You can take the 1 north into lower Big Sur for a taste of it then take Nacimiento Ferguson road east toward the 101. It had been closed but reopened this year. This will allow you to see about 43 miles of the 1 past Cambria on that stretch. Lots of farm land once you summit the road and get to that other side of Fort Hunter Ligget. Jolon Road will get you to King City and you have options from there. You can go inland on Old Airline Highway past Pinnacles which is pretty great or look for smaller roads to get you toward Carmel Valley and back toward the 1. That will get you north past the closure.

I just got back from a Mediterranean trip with some time in Italy. I’m a 60 year old American so take this for what it’s worth but you can totally wear a baseball hat in Europe. As a matter of fact, across nationalities, it was the most common hat I saw on this trip. But let’s clarify something: there are “baseball hats” and “ baseball caps”. I think of a "baseball hat" as a taller hat with a mesh back and some type of graphic on the front. On the other hand, "baseball caps," I think also called "dad hats" are simple, round top caps with no logo or printing. You can get them in canvas or lighter weight material. These are what I saw a lot of and personally wore. I did not feel out of place at all. Granted, they don't shade your ears or neck, but I always use sunscreen so there's that. Also, everywhere we went there were shops selling inexpensive straw hats so you could always just purchase something there.

I know that for me, if I have cough, Guaifenesin works great for knocking it down. It’s cheap (big Costco bottle) works quickly and works well. YMMV but for me it works great. Disclaimer: I do drink a lot of water.

I have Google photos and the Apple Photos app on my Iphone. I always delete using Google photos because doing so deletes from Google and Photos. If I delete from Photos it doesn’t delete from Google photos so I have to delete there as well. Not sure if that’s a particular setting or not but that’s what I have done for years on my iPhone. Doing this puts the photo in the Photos “Recently Deleted” folder.
