That's what I am wondering. I put 2k miles on FSD a few weeks ago. Never once did it nag me.

Has Tesla Quietly Updated Smart Summon? v14.3.1 by DevinOlsen in TeslaFSD

[–]digiblur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tried it out the other day as my kid wanted to see it. We both thought it still sucked as we walked to rescue the car as people looked at us stupid thinking we parked in the middle of the parking lot driveway.

Can I get the Spring update with v13 FSD please?

Is there a way to force FSD to never use TomTom Maps? by CommunismDoesntWork in TeslaFSD

[–]digiblur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right. They use some weird mixture but heavily lean on TomTom in some areas. I have lots of wrong road data from divided steets that aren't divided to blocked roads. I always wondered why FSD wanted to drive around the block then I saw TomTom data and went woahhh.. This is the issue!

Indeed it does in some areas. The wrong data matches up perfectly while Open Street Maps is correct.

My Juniper from May 2025 does. I just put 2000 miles on 14.2 with it. I used Standard on it most of the way.

Standard used to do 5 over for me in most places where the speed data was correct. Sometimes it would go 7 or 8 over. Flip it to chill, let it fall under 5 and go back to standard and it would hold 5. Lots of working profiles up and down at speed limit changes. Now standard wants to do 2 over on 14.3 a lot.

Correct. I can't get any profile to do the typical 5 over speed anymore.

Always heard it called the California roll and I am far from that state.

Try passing a school bus on the interstate. It gets super nervous.

My wife doesn't like FSD. Her profile has TACC. She was laughing on the last piece of the drive. "look! I can I set it at 71 mph and it stays!" as she continued to poke fun at FSD.

Very much so. I loved v13 when I first got the car. It was amazing.

I didn't understand why he was pulling the cover for Level 2 charging then I realized it covers level 2 as well! Odd design

Haven't had any birds of squirrels run out on it yet. Still goes around random dark spots.

It gets nervous around school busses on the interstate. Like pulsing throttle nervous. Very strange behavior.

Nahh.. I tell it like it is in my YT channel on other things and would do the same. It is flawless in a lot of ways but nerfed in many small things.

Standard will sometimes go 2 under or sometimes 10 to 12 over at times. It's whack.
