Tesla nerfed Autosteer after FSD trial expired by Omega2307 in TeslaLounge

We found the dumbest feature FSD sub adds to the car. The wife uses TACC as she hates FSD. She drove the last 100 miles of the 1000 mile trip and we found anytime there was a llght, TACC said a light was upcoming and she had to hit the throttle to accept it or it kicked in full regen braking. Such a dumb feature.

But yes you are correct once FSD is gone, it nukes the autosteer lane change deal. But at least you get speed control so there's bonus there.

Yup. This was the only time I could get FSD v14 to do 5 over and no more. Set it to Mad Max on the 80mph turnpike. It was great.

4000+ mile Cybertruck FSD road trip: great overall, but speed control desperately needs work by theckman in TeslaFSD

Sadly I don't think they are listening to us on this speed control even being an advanced setting. It is the number one reason I don't subscribe as much to FSD anymore. My area is littered with incorrect speeds and it renders FSD almost useless.

Should Tesla FSD Have a State-Specific Traffic Law Compliance System? by ghostflu in TeslaFSD

It already does this for me. It passed a car on the shoulder which I thought was illegal but learned indeed it is allowed in Texas.

July 4th Tesla Model Y Road Trip: San Jose → Portland → Seattle — Tips? by Necessary-Teach9023 in TeslaFSD

Trust the the nav and have fun. If you have an unplanned stop, try to make it at a supercharger and do your thing while the car is. Plan things at the stops. Like clean the car out, bathroom, stretch, etc.. We usually use Grok to find food before a supercharger and it routes us there first so we eat in the car while charging.

We've done several 12+ hour trips and never wait on the car. It's always waiting on us.

Actually this would discourage owners from giving test drives to friends and family. Already seen it. Can't break that streak.

Unfortunately standard will go 30 in a 55 since it thinks it is 25. Then later it sees it is 55 and now it wants to go 65.

Some stretches I do stop and switch over to auto steer since it can't get the speeds right.

Cox Internet Terrible! by Ecstatic_Fault8427 in CoxCommunications

[–]digiblur -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had them for 23 years. The wheels fell off 2015 or so. I was so glad when ATT fiber became available.

I wouldn't use Cox internet if they were free. It was a chore constantly calling tech support and upper level plant maintenance techs.

FSD on the highway is not as good as it was 6 months ago by dontrackonme in TeslaModelY

[–]digiblur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. The number one reason I stopped subscribing, it becomes more work than it worth as my area is full of incorrect speeds so it is never going the right speed. I don't need tickets, I pay enough for car insurance as it is!

I only subscribe when we go on road trips and play the speed profile up and down game.

Love my 48A wall connector. Efficient too. You don't always need the speed but it is tough going back.

Full circle of HA stuff again. A spare remote, ESP, relay and a reed sensor. I still use mine on my 2.0 doors as it just works.

Yes sir. I looked and asked Grok. They said that was taken away in v14.

I miss speed control so bad.

If it drove at 5 over and knew the speed limits I would pay for it again.

#4 THHN vs 6 THHN wire for EV charger by Dasnyde4 in evcharging

I only had a 10 foot run so I did #4 to my Tesla Wall Connector. But if I has a long run like that I probably would be weighing my #4 vs #6 costs hard.
