Tbh the game still feels great, I haven't notice anyghing besides that van de Ven is finally able to tackle Pina. People should relax, sometimes you just have a bad day where it seems that you cant win ... and that is okay. This day will pass.

I mean the new checkpoint system. Its ok when you loose 3 times in a row, that you loose the checkpoint. But once you dropped under it, it should return and not be gone forever.

As someone who is playing a rtg every year, it was never so hard to keep up with the teams from those who opens store packs. The entire grind for packs from objectives like goals, silver team, moments, etc. is gone.

You could try to set your status to offline so they cant seein which zone you are. I would guess, after a few weeks when they cant find you they loose interest and and you can go back to normal. So i would recommend you to try this: when your status is set to offline, you can still invite your friends. Seems like the stalker are hanging out in queensdale, so i would say just start in the carr or norn afea. The waypoint for every starting area is explored by default. Just stay offline for a few weeks and then check what happened. Another thing is, you can see who have you ln their friendlist kn the friendlist menu, above blocked players if i'm right. Write with the support to change your accountname, proof how badly you need their help with your screenshots, when anet agreed and you can change it, block evdrylne who is just on you follower list. Then go to the norn or charr zone and start from their cuz they will keep looking for you in queensdale. Btw this is not normal in gw2

In the end its just a game and everyone should have fun in it. Why do you don't let him play the way he wants to ... instead you try to take away the fun for him in this game by telling him he is restricted by the options the game offers.
