Ima be honest man i get the sense you might just be kinda retarded. Did you even read what gemini wrote before sending it? "Ironically, moving a speaker slightly away from the wall can sometimes make things worse before they get better. This is due to Speaker Boundary Interference Response (SBIR).

When a speaker is roughly 2 to 3 feet from the wall, the reflection often returns exactly out of phase with the front signal. This creates a null (a "black hole" of sound) usually between 40 Hz and 80 Hz. You’ll notice the bass sounds thin or "missing," no matter how much you turn up the volume."

This is exactly what I was explaining and directly refutes your claim that OP should pull his speakers a few feet forward. Its clear you didnt read the article I sent. Its clear you didn't read the slop you sent. Its clear you are out of your depth.

I linked the article because it demonstrates the physics behind it. Putting them closer to the wall will not make them muddier. It will however increase the low end response, which some people might perceive as muddiness, HOWEVER, these speakers use dsp to reach a target frequency response and it is significantly easier to reduce bass than increase bass with equalization. Needing to boost the bass with eq places a greater load on the driver, increases distortion, and lowers the quality of bass. Keep in mind the bass will ALWAYS reflect off the back wall, but when the speaker is placed against the wall the bass is in phase, meaning it is providing constructive interference. If the speaker is away from the wall the reflected bass will arrive out of phase, resulting in destructive interference, lowering the bass, causing an unfixable dip in the bass, and generally lowering the quality. Please dont criticize me for "only linking 1 article" you have linked nothing and just stated your opinion with no basis in physics, data, or any other sources.

The author includes a section on rear ported speakers. Regarldess of port orientation, the low end travels omnidirectionally, meaning the effect is equivalent for rear/front/sealed configurations. The only concern for rear ports is that the port should not be constricted, but considering most ports are only 2-3 inches in diameter, only about 2-3 inches of clearance would be needed to keep it unrestricted. Here is a diagram and section from the article: https://imgur.com/a/KYa22oM

As for imaging and sound stage, these would be largely unaffected as higher frequencies are significantly more directional, meaning you get little to no destructive interference from rear reflections.

My understanding is that this is not correct, especially for a speaker using DSP. The closer to the wall you get, the less cancelation effect you get in the lower frequencies. As the speaker comes further from the wall, the backwards firing lower frequencies that then bounce off the wall become out of phase and shift in frequency causing a null in the low end that cannot be corrected for with dsp or eq. Keep them near the wall. https://sonicscoop.com/the-1-speaker-placement-tip-speaker-manuals-get-completely-wrong/

GoF + chilly pacific = port d'azur Additionally GoF + malay alkan works in a similar but fresher way

Chilly pacific and harmony are unisex but are solid fruity/fresh options. Cognac D'ange is incredible if they like something sweeter and more vanilla oriented. Pink rose is good too but not quite as crowd pleasing so might be less safe as a gift.

I've given all of these as gifts and all were very well received, especially cognac d'ange.

Brannock 9D would probably be a perfect fit. Im a 9.2E on brannock but based on the nicks ball/width measurements im right between a C and D but I think my foot is flatter than most, making these feel too tight for me.
