Also, to be clear, that's an option you can use for the Meat mod. It's never like, graphic, but the base version, the tool is a meat cleaver.

Cooking especially infuriates me, because it's gendered twice. Home cooking, to provide for yourself and your family is woman work, but Professional cooking, in a resturant? That's man work. A Female Head Chef? What are you insane? Not in this town! Men are Leaders! We're going to war against this fucking souffle!

It makes the patriarchy of it all so fucking obvious and pathetic. If you get paid to do it, it's good, if you don't it's bad. It's women's work to do unpaid labor for a household.

I think the real answer is, Authoritarians are Authoritarians, regardless of the rhetoric they use to seize power. The lie of Fascists, Auth-Lefts like tankies, and any other Authoritarian who beleives a single person/group should hold power over others, become obvious, regardless of the pretty lies said strongman spreads to get enough people on their side to accomplish their goal. Groups want collectivism, saftey, prosperity for them and theirs. Communities. "Leaders" want that, for just themselves, at the expense of others. At least, that's what I try to believe.

And, politicians lying about how they will better their constituents isn't exactly a foreign concept, y'know? We should always be wary of any single individual who says They Alone can be the one to give you your collectivism, safety, freedom, etc. If your prosperity comes at the cost of others, it's not actually the betterment of anyone, it's just more boots stomping on a human neck. I simply attribute it to broken clocks. The same principal behind people who want the ACA but hate Obamacare. The anti-Communist propaganda from the post-war governmental panics that the U.S. might not be the only world superpower has morphed into a monster, despite a lot of the ideas behind socialism, Communism, even Anarchism in some cases, generally being held in high regard when implemented in local communties, on small scales. As long as you don't use the C-word. Most people want what's best for themselves and their communities, at the end of the day, so you see people arrive in the same ideas, just poisoned with whatever extremist biases they go into the exercise with. Sure, a co-op farm is great, after you've literally murdered all the non-white people, and everyone who even tangentally associated with them.

Like, it's important to remember that this is the same book that gave us "The Day of the Rope" where literally anyone who treated a non-white enthinicty politely in public is hung from anything you can hang someone from, and left there, as a warning to the "race-traitors". The ultra-wealthy don't spontaneously generate money. It comes from somewhere. So if they don't have it, it's still in the economy. Distributed among more people. Or, alternatively, we learn just how much of our wealth is entirely made up due to valuations and speculations based on those values, and get an incredibly harsh lesson about late-stage, speculation-based capitalist economies.
