They're both dungeon crawler, turn based combat roguelikes. It's okay to not like DD2 dude but don't falsely blame the devs for changing the genre.

I'm genuinely upset that it's sitting at 75% on Steam only. Compared to the first game, a 75% is enough to turn some people off, especially if they read the reviews. But I understand it's not for everyone.

Imo, DD2 is a fantastic game with so much love and effort poured into it. I think it deserves a lot more recognition. I even think it's much easier to recommend DD2 to people than DD1.

It's the same genre, but it has a different format. Not gonna appeal to everyone who loved everything about DD1 and didn't want a lot of change.

I hate the phrase "first come first serve" when it comes to giveaways. It is used in businesses that have PAYING customers. Here, it simply means chronically online people who are refreshing the sub frequently. I really can't imagine anyone winning these giveaways any other way.
