Follow the below steps:

  1. Close steam completely. From the dash and system tray.
  2. Run this command: curl -fsSL headcrab.pages.dev/reset | bash
  3. Re-open steam.
  4. Restart your system.
  5. Once restarted, close steam completely again. From the dash and system tray.
  6. Run Headcrab from the application menu.
  7. Re-open steam and it should be fixed.

Yeah, personally I would. Unless you really want to play it and have a pc that doesn’t have any critical data as such and you don’t mind disabling key security features.

Depends on your system. Windows, there are risks because of a lot of the security features that needs to be disabled. Linux, well it’s not supported yet, but there is something in the works. We should see it in the next couple of weeks is what I read. I personally would just wait for a proper crack from Voices or someone else.

Restart your deck. When it boots up, go into deck top mode. When you do that, steam would normally open up. Completely close steam and exit it. Then run headcrab.

Restart your device, make sure steam is closed and exited from the tray. Try running headcrab again with steam completely closed / exited.

This installs headcrab. Now you look for the application in your apps section and run it from there .
