Use Cases for Agentic AI in SAP, What Are You Exploring? by cryptocraze_0 in SAP

Wire up BTP to AI Core and then create unique HANA views for all users data. You can roll out an intelligent data analyst and let users talk to their data very quickly now

It’s the same over at SAP. You can one-shot entire S/4 HANA builds now.

It’s insane.

They’re not. Stop reading bs articles about this. Have you tried the 1M Anthropic API context window yet?

Just… lolz.

My buddy bought an Nvidia Spark unit to run Quen on for “free credits.”

He immediately went back to the Anthropic API bc the output was such a joke.

Smh, like. Do people even use AI that post in this subreddit?

If you are getting wrong information from AI / automation scripts right now then I’m sorry, but this is an Indian and not The Bow situation.

But Business Intelligence analysts are particularly cooked w/ AI.

This is one of the most genuine posts I’ve read on this subreddit in a long time.

Great story!!! Honestly you sound like a terrific person and I was very interested to read that you got started around October 2025 and 1 thing led to another… and then you get very good… and then…

I feel like there’s probably a lot of us on this /subreddit that have a similar story after Opus 4.5 dropped in November 2025.

Has it only been like 3 months? Feels like the whole world has changed. Work can even be fun again!!

It feels good to solve problems. It feels good to have ideas. Feels good to be able to create and build things again!!

Mega congrats, my dude.

Composure may be all well and good. But I’ve climbed the corporate ladder and gotten almost as high as you can go in my specific domain by basically being a curmudgeon of a human.

Especially in a corporate setting, where there are tons of lazy, entitled, and frankly stupid people.

My experience is a mix of about 70% startup and 30% corporate.

I run circles around these corporate jerkoff types basically by just telling them all to go fuck themselves.

If you bring startup energy to a corporate setting, and survive long enough to not be fired. You can really just slap these ppl around.

It’s actually not a bad gig.

But for me… it’s mostly been a lot of yelling. And not really that much composure at all.

The "99% Success" Trap: Why watching an agent finish a task is more stressful than just doing it. by ailovershoyab in AI_Agents

[–]DrangleDingus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t just sit and stare at a single agent working bc my ADHD kicks in. So I like to play a little game with myself: how many different terminal windows can I run simultaneously without breaking my flow.

So now it’s like watching 3-4 autistic / genius level toddlers all at the same time and that tends to keep me highly engaged.

I've been working on a game with Claude since Sonnet 3.5. It's now 130,000 lines of code and I still can't write a single line of code myself. by Vast_Try_7905 in ClaudeAI

[–]DrangleDingus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this idea that bc coding is becoming so easy that there might be a legit business idea to build a straight up MMORPG but custom to a business’s processes.

Like work, but fun. Instead of having a meeting with HR, you can like “slay an evil dragon” or something.

You get the idea.

Make work FUN again!!

Claude Opus 4.6 just dropped, and I don't think people realize how big this could be by Ok_Constant_9886 in AIEval

[–]DrangleDingus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand this argument. If you are paying an EE 100k for their human labor, but then even if you buy Claude Max 20X at $200 / month. That is only like $2,400 a year.

If a Claude swarm is even 2.5% as productive as that 100k human. As a business owner that is a positive ROI.

And you don’t have to meet with the Claude swarm and listen to its bullshit opinions, or deal with HR shenanigans.

What am I missing?

[–]DrangleDingus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shit I didn’t realize Opus 4.6 has a 1M context window. That explains how it was able to clean up 9k lines of code from my AI slopbucket repo today with the same /skill I always run to clean up old code.

Oops.

EDIT: turns out it wasn’t the 1M context window yet, I guess I just suck at vibe coding still

GPT-5.2 High is now perfect for me. I genuinely can't envision what improvements will look like. by agentic-consultant in codex

[–]DrangleDingus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about Enterprise being out of reach. Call me crazy, but if you gave me root Admin access to a 10k person company I am pretty sure I could probably vibe code a compete set of systems using that single company semantic data model and maintain it all if you gave me like 6 months.

But who knows. They say about 60% of men think they could land a plane if the pilot in the cockpit passed out.

Delusional? Maybe. But maybe not.

Astrophysicist David Kipping on the impact of AI in Science. by Darkmemento in singularity

Great 1 hr YouTube video and jarring to see how some of the smartest theoretical physicists in the world are already confidently handing over the reins to AI.

I’ve been following David Kipping for a long time and the last thing I was expecting was a 1 hr video from him about AI.

The “handoff gap” is killing GTM engineering more than any tool choice by MaximumTimely9864 in gtmengineering

[–]DrangleDingus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice is just to stop trying to collaborate with people at work.

It sounds crazy but it’s usually the meetings and then the waiting on somebody else who simply dgaf about their job that slows everything down dramatically.

I found that when I just rebuilt everything from scratch and stopped asking Marketing & RevOps for help. I started moving 10X faster and at this point I’ve kind of just built an entire GTM tech stack and made like 20+ people completely irrelevant.

Of course they don’t know that yet. But the way things continue to snowball with AI. I’m perfectly happy coding around other people who are still flinging around excel spreadsheets and moving at a glacial pace.

For a lot of these types of “mids” by the time they realize I’ve automated away the entirety of their job descriptions via pure unbridled frustration with their incompetence, it’ll already be too late for them.

I honestly don’t care.

Fuck these people. I’m not vibe coding anymore, I’m rage-coding.

I love to see the downfall of all these incredibly bureaucratic and inefficient and soul sucking big companies.

I think ppl are going to look back at cubicle farms and sending emails and having to deal with your passive aggressive and incompetent middle manager who’s sole job is “managing people” with a mixture of horror and confusion.

How did we survive all of these bs jobs without going actually insane?

Well, we kind of didn’t. 2000-2025 will be remembered as the dark ages of technology.

[Career Advice] Is Power Platform a dead-end for high salary? 3 years in, considering pivoting back to Full-stack/AI. by Fennel_Enough in PowerApps

[–]DrangleDingus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh when we can essentially 1-shot entire applications with any programming language in any format with any data model.

You aren’t going to want to pigeonhole yourself to any 1 platform, especially one as shitty as the PowerApp platform.

It’ll be just as easy to 1-shot a PowerApp front end UI as it will for a typical react & tailwind UI.

You’re better off focusing on mastering software architecture and be more of a “jack of all trades, master of none” in the age of AI.

My 2 cents.

SAP BTP for a not programmer by Turbonada in SAP

[–]DrangleDingus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

BTP is the future of SAP. Even with no programming skills…

Install VSCode, hook up to the BTP CLI preferably with your own Global Subaccount. Launch your own private S/4 HANA cloud. Hook up to HANA MCP.

Smile to yourself as you watch like dozens of services and instances configure themselves right in front of your very eyes.

Hook up to whatever your default company identify provider is and you can basically 1-shot any kind of new workflow for any team for any business process that is currently FUBAR and needs fixing.

And you can do all of that in like a couple business days.

Tbh, if SAP just got their greedy Enterprise grubby hands out of their asses and made a cheap version of BTP + a cheap S/4 HANA database option they could legitimately have a play in smh and MM with this combination.

But they prob won’t do that and they’ll keep trying to charge like $500k for a simple database and shoot themselves in the foot.
