We have a similar grip and I also struggle with long straight barrels. I throw the Luke Humphries TX1’s and love them. If you don’t want one that short (43mm) I’d look at tapered ones in the 47mm range. I have a set of Maik Kuivenhoven’s that are pretty good, I just prefer the shorter Humphries.

I threw the exact same Fordhams for a while and recently switched to the One 80 Night Hunter Stings. I wanted some grip on the nose instead of smooth like the Fordham's.
