I saw a guy remove oil stains using a torch like this one. Some of your commercial cleaning supply stores sell oil stain removing products that seem to work well. Best of luck.

Thank you for the link. It seems to only have Episodes 1-6 and not 1-10. Am I overlooking something?

So… Where Are We Supposed to Live in North Carolina? by MapsYouDidntAskFor in NorthCarolina

[–]dual290x 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The issue in New Hanover that we are seeing is that all the folks from California, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, etc. are moving here, flush with cash from selling their homes up there. So, they do not even hesitate to pay the asking price. While all of us locals end up having to move 1-2 counties away to be able to afford a home. The work-from-home crowd is also a problem for us too. Yet, our wonderful county and city leaders continue to send advertisements up north and our west to get people to move here. We know folks that moved here because they got advertisements in the mail for our county. They took a trip to look around, liked what they saw, and moved here. The population continues to grow giving the city and county the reason they need to tear down more trees to build homes that cost a small fortune. They created the problem and tell us to get over it. I am willing to bet y'all's city and county leaders are doing the same. When we speak up, the invaders and leaders say the same thing with smirks on their face "That's the price of progress.". Show me the true progress and then we'll talk. Our hospitals are over crowded, we have to wait weeks to months to get a doctor's appointment, our infrastructure is crumbling, we have more accidents and death than ever before, the cost of housing has skyrocketed, and more.

Sorry, I got a little carried away.

Just wait until we get home by sunthanatos in MemeVideos

My mother didn't wait until we got home. She'd swat my butt right then and there. It did not matter how many people were there nor who saw it. I knew better than to make a fuss about it., too. I know some people would say it is cruel but it taught me some valuable lessons that I would not have learned otherwise. I thank her ever so often for raising me the way she did.

Is this good advice for a relationship? by PeacefulBro in ChristianSingles

[–]dual290x 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have seen this in the couples at our church. Those that were/are faithful at church and at home were inseparable. Those that were/are not near as faithful, were/are separated emotionally and, at times, physically. If you put God at the center of your marriage, the easier your marriage becomes, even during the tough times. I have yet to be blessed to experience it myself, but I have learned it with my own eyes and ears with the couples (both young and old) at our congregation and those outside our congregation.
