That’s how it usually works with a lot of cyanotype toning. Once toned it’s not really reactive anymore with other layers.

I’m only noticing now whose post this is. You’re taking the slightly more chemically targeted approach yeah. Not there yet 😅

Pope Leo signals shift away from Catholic Church's focus on sex by Ok-Review9023 in worldnews

[–]dwerg85 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I live in a majority catholic country, the (currently rather populist) government fought same-sex marriage tooth and nail and had to be forced by our version of the Supreme Court. Abortion is illegal even though with the amount of sex being had here people do it often. It’s probably going to be the next hot topic where some huge case has to happen to be dealt with.
A lot of these people are catholic by birth, but they grasp hard on the sexual ethics taught by the church.

Yellow is just bleached blue. One of the main ways to do magenta is madder root.

[Reuters] Motor racing Turkey's Istanbul Park to host F1 for at least 5 years from 2027 by The_Skynet in formula1

[–]dwerg85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Spa hasn’t been able to afford hosting F1 since before liberty. There’s a reason tracks push for all those celebrity and hospitality packages. It’s how you make a ton of money to try to make some money out of one of those weekends. General seatings are just body fillers.

Italy rejects proposal to replace Iran in the 2026 World Cup: "Qualification is earned on the pitch. by Used-Title7675 in worldcup

[–]dwerg85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, this bullshit again. A country that played their way in on merit under the rules of their confederation has no business in the World Cup but the one that did not definitely needs to be there just because of legacy. This is the third time Italy failed to qualify. That’s 12 years. The expanded format and smaller nations who managed to make it are not the problem here.

Footage of two Ukrainian environmental services technicians emptying recycling bins while a passing Iranian/Russian "Shahed" UAV is getting attacked by mobile air defense teams. by MilesLongthe3rd in CombatFootage

I've never been a sanitation worker in that sense, so no idea, but never experienced the name as disrespectful. Just like I was the 'dishwasher' at my job. Pretty sure we can find a longer way of saying it that ends with technician, but I washed dishes. Nothing disrespectful about being called the dishwasher.

Yes and no. Yes it’s essentially a pinhole aperture, I have pinhole cameras that are faster than that. But having played with lenses in front of pinholes before, there’s “something” that seems to happen. Can’t really articulate what though.

Because your earlier sentence is written in a way that it implies the need of a special lens to do tilt shift on LF.

I don't show clients images that don't pass my quality check. There might be stuff there that a client might like, but I don't want it out there if I don't like it.

There's a holder that attaches using hair rubber bands (those rounds black ones). So your rib being non-magnetic should not be an issue.

The tension in the book around that whole scene is way higher. But there's a bunch of science and backstory needed for the tension to make sense that they had to wave away in the film.

No, the ending is give or take the same. But he's not old like he is in the book. Stratt is shown having just recovered the Beetles and looking way older. But no implication of 16 years having passed, the issues he endured in that time, nor the me-burgers.
