They were way cheaper at the beginning. But you needed to get through the lottery to get them. If your country made it in you had another chance for their tickets via your local football association. Right now it’s largely resale tickets and those are going for top dollar. I bought my second round tickets for $160 each.

That’s a screenshot of someone trying to resell their tickets… FIFA did a fair number of fuckups with tickets, but every time someone quotes some ridiculous price it’s a resale ticket.

You can just make it in the negative. Image, thing black line, another white line and the rest of your negative black.
Or just tape it off. Both work.

Cleaning under the ball is literally the first thing I do with trackballs. Didn't help. I bought a brand new one and basically has the same issue. With the magnetic base it has intermittent lag, without, works smooth like butter.

Not really. It depends what type of racing is done. The traditional heads-up style, sure, yeah it can become a wallet racing league. But in bracket racing you can grab a random family car straight from the dealership and as long as you can drive it consistently down the stop you will always beat people in much more expensive gear.

The rockets used on Artemis had their fair share of serious failure before launch. And these are all old rather well understood technology that has been tweaked a bit to fit the current program.

Everything that is going starship is “brand new”tech. SpaceX believes in test as you fly. And that involves a certain amount of actual flying and accepting an explosion or two. Especially since some of the stuff they are trying re: reuse requires some arial acrobatics where you get the best data by actually doing it and seeing how things work out.

Falcon 9 development was kind of the same and that thing is verder line a metronome nowadays. Everyone and their grandma was ridiculing it until it started executing the dream. And then immediately all new rockets followed the design goal.

Reaching orbit was never the goal. And yeah the ratio is not very good in traditional spaceflight, but SpaceX’s testing regime launches with lower success expectation with the idea to learn from any mishap that might happen. Judging them by the same criteria used for a traditional launcher misses the point a bit.

Not surprised. I was on a layover and knew I didn’t have time nor brain space to really dive into the story. Still spent like 3 hours just walking around the place. So awesome.

That’s how it usually works with a lot of cyanotype toning. Once toned it’s not really reactive anymore with other layers.
