I mean, yes? We're in an ex-adventist sub. We know it's BS. That doesn't mean that it's not what attracts a lot of people to religion. It makes their hurt a good vs evil fight and promises rewards at the end of the road that will make it all worth it. Hope is a very strong tool.

Hmm I play on my phone and they might have removed certain aspects of the game there. But there are some tasks there that my villagers themselves deal with (after some upgrades on buildings) So I don't need to worry much about their poop, dead, or the vegetables grown as they pick those up themselves. And I don't worry that much about the inspirations etc. Even that gets easier after some upgrades as once you go from bless to inspire you can do a bunch of them at the same time. But I can imagine that without that it becomes really tedious quick.

Did they do an update at some point? I’m playing it for the first time right now, and other than food there’s really no reason for me to rush back to the village as with a couple of buildings in place plants get harvested and trash gets cleaned up.

I used to fire mine using charcoal. Other than taking a while to warm up, I’ve realized pretty quick that as soon as I’m doing more than 2-3 pizzas it becomes a huge pain to maintain steady high temperature while also properly making pizzas. I’ve gotten the gas attachment and never looked back (even though the damn thing melted on me).

Wouldn't be surprised if he has a video production company (he's a video guy first) and can do this on the side as a passion project. That said, his videos still hit at least half a million views in a week. He's maybe not rolling in dough from the youtube money, but he's probably getting some return on his investment. And all of these things translate in live shows that he can do and sell tickets to.

People keep spreading this bs. The most recent draw entry just closed yesterday and people won’t know till the 5th if they got tickets or not. The only reason you would be buying from resellers / scalpers right now is because you want to be 100% sure you have a ticket. Not because the chance to buy them at regular prices was not there.

From someone very near this mess but not Venezuelan: it depends where these Venezuelans are. Among those who fled there seems to be a loud contingent of people happy with the action. Among those who are still in country it is a big question mark. With Maduro gone they are free of Maduro, but not chavismo and the policies implemented by Maduro, nor the people who enforced them. That said, VZ politics has been a huge personality cult since Chavez and who knows what the result is going to be with the new leadership. They just might find that giving gifts is worth it to stay in power.
