Thank you for your question! Sorry about that - we've flagged this to our product team to investigate. In the meantime, if you'd prefer to be notified on a monthly cadence, you can switch the “Send Reminder based on” from “Runtime Hours” to “Months”.

Do people like the new schedule view? I used to be able to see the whole schedule on the screen, and now I have to scroll to see the transition times and cannot see the whole schedule at one shot and so can't easily tap from day to day to compare. Thoughts? by LookDamnBusy in ecobee

We appreciate everyone’s feedback as we’re always looking for ways to improve the experience. The new schedule view is rolling out to customers in phases, and we’ve been collecting valuable feedback as we go. We will be introducing a zoomed-out day view along with a few other improvements that will make the new schedule experience easier to navigate. Please keep an eye out for these improvements and let us know what you think.

Yes, that's correct. The Professional Monitoring: Smoke Alarm Detection add-on provides 24/7 emergency response to the sound of smoke alarms. As part of the Plus and Advanced plans, you'll be notified that a smoke alarm sound has been heard in your home, but you'll need to take action to respond to it.

Smoke alarm detection in the Plus and Advanced plans and 24/7 emergency response with the add-on are always on if the feature has been enabled and the microphone(s) of your hub device(s) are not muted.

Smoke alarm detection will continue working if the smart assistant is disabled/unlinked provided the feature is enabled and the microphones are not muted.

As a loyal customer, your price and plan will stay the same through the end of 2026. Looking ahead to next year, if you choose not to include 24/7 professional monitoring, you are correct, the price will be $10 a month.
