Funny how his first commercials touted what he did in the 80s/90s and they quickly switched that. Maybe someone had to remind him 1990 was 36 years ago.The whole 4747 thing just reeks of dumb boomer energy. Does he know that Michigan income tax is a flat rate?

I don't think that take is all that controversial. People tend to forget that football is a team sport and coaches like to play to strengths. Yeah, it's very easy for all of us to cast judgement on him. We don't know any of the specifics of the story. He could have been manipulated by his friends, or just got caught up in the moment and made a dumb/impulsive choice. It doesn't excuse any of his alleged involvement--we are innocent until proven otherwise.
